The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager interacts with the customer or General Contractor, Designers, Field Supervisors, Purchasing, Accounting, Estimating, Fire departments, and AHJ, as well as upper management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Consistently brings projects in on time and on or below budget</li><li>
Excels in pre-planning for projects, communication with others, and responsiveness</li><li>
Provides information and clarifies his/her workers and others around them</li><li>
Builds and maintains a professional positive relationship with the customer</li><li>
Steadily follows up and follows through on their responsibilities and duties</li><li>
Where predetermined standard(s) are unavailable, make an estimate.</li><li>
Attends departmental meetings as required</li><li>
Must possess excellent collaboration skills, communication skills, ethical conduct, time management skills, and most importantly be very thorough</li><li>
Helps other departments accomplish their tasks more efficiently by providing good information</li><li>
Read and negotiate the scope of work for service and construction contracts</li><li>
Literacy to read and comprehend blueprints, contracts, and submittals</li><li>
Able to create, negotiate, &amp; execute a schedule of values</li><li>
Able to create change orders and purchase orders</li><li>
Knowledge of and ability to find and interpret all applicable fire and building codes</li></ul>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred. Candidates with related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is an experienced fitter position that supervises and trains workers and tradespeople while installing systems. Having a positive attitude, good attendance, a hard-working work ethic, and the desire to grow is vital to the success of this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Working knowledge of all construction documents and fire sprinkler installation plans</li><li>
Have a working knowledge of some or all of the following documents: NFPA 13D, 13R, and 13</li><li>
Provide information about the progress of the project</li><li>
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans</li><li>
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate</li><li>
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople</li><li>
Have a professional attitude and appearance</li><li>
Interface with customers and superintendents in a professional manner</li><li>
Motivated and a self-starter</li><li>
Problem solver</li><li>
Able to work independently</li><li>
Ability to give and follow directions</li><li>
