 Position Overview
 
 
 
 We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant &ndash; Accounts Payable to support accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and financial transactions. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Project Management, and Accounting teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational consistency. The Staff Accountant will also support vendor relations, daily cash handling, and routine accounting activities that contribute to strong financial controls and month-end close.

 This position requires to be onsite at our Framingham location up to 3 days per week.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or adjusted as needed.)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper authorization and three-way matching with purchase orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule and execute outgoing payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate vendor records, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve billing discrepancies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle daily cash receipts, process transactions, reconcile daily sales reports, and balance the cash drawer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate financial records and support expense report processing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and supporting documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements, including 1099 tracking where applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support internal partners by responding to inquiries related to invoices, payments, and vendor information.

 Qualifications And Requirements

 Education

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Technical Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and invoice verification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with NetSuite and Airbase preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced Excel skills required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger activity.

 Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice status and payment questions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with bookkeeping, AP workflows, or cashiering is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in professional services, consulting, or life sciences industries is preferred.

 The employee is regularly required to use a computer keyboard and mouse; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen. The employee frequently walks and sits and may lift and carry objects such as books and files weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee may occasionally stand, stoop, or kneel. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
 
 
 
 Work Environment
 
 
 
 The work environment includes a moderate noise level, indoor temperature-controlled setting, and bright lighting typical of office environments. This role is expected to operate in a hybrid model, with three days per week in the Framingham office.
