Reporting To: Directors / Head of Sales (Solar)Job ObjectiveThe Senior Sales Manager &ndash; Solar Division will be responsible for leading and driving the overall sales performance of the solar business, with full ownership of sales targets, strategy development, and business growth across CNI and related segments. This role requires a strategic leader who can translate market intelligence into actionable sales initiatives, manage and inspire high-performing sales teams, and strengthen the Company&rsquo;s brand presence in the solar energy market.The incumbent will work closely with the Head Of Sales and Directors to define sales direction, expansion plans, pricing strategies, promotions, and long-term growth initiatives while ensuring consistent execution on ground.Key Duties, Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed overall divisional revenue and market share targets for solar solutions.</li><li>Take full ownership of sales targets for all assigned sales teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging market segments within the solar industry.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage Sales Managers, Team Leads, and sales executives, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.</li><li>Work closely with Directors on sales planning, forecasting, pricing strategies, promotions, and business expansion decisions.</li><li>Drive branding and promotional initiatives in coordination with the marketing team to enhance visibility and positioning of solar products and solutions.</li><li>Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitor activity, and technological advancements to guide strategic sales decisions.</li><li>Review sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and conversion ratios, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.</li><li>Ensure strong engagement with key clients, consultants, EPC partners, and corporate customers to build long-term, sustainable relationships.</li><li>Oversee proposal development, negotiations, and contract closures for high-value and strategic accounts.</li><li>Ensure effective use of CRM systems and sales tools to maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and customer data.</li><li>Manage sales budgets efficiently, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI and team productivity.</li><li>Ensure continuous development of the sales team through training on product knowledge, technical understanding, market trends, and consultative selling techniques.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Strong strategic and hands-on sales leadership expertise</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Deep understanding of solar solutions, CNI segment, and energy markets</li><li>Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities</li><li>Ability to identify market trends and convert insights into winning sales strategies</li><li>High level of business acumen with customer-focused mindset</li><li>Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results through teams</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree Engineering (Mandatory) Electrical preferred</li><li>Master&rsquo;s in Business Administration (MBA) &ndash; Preferred</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>4&ndash;6+ years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in solar / renewable energy solutions</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years in a senior or team leadership role with responsibility for achieving large-scale sales targets</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs180,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

This role requires a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader with strong technical understanding, business acumen, and the ability to inspire and drive teams toward aggressive growth targets.The incumbent will play a critical role in shaping company-wide sales strategies, leading complex negotiations, strengthening brand presence, and working directly with the Directors on strategic decision-making, market expansion, and long-term revenue growth.Key Duties, Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage the entire solar sales organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth plans.</li><li>Develop and execute long-term and short-term sales strategies focused on C&amp;I solar solutions, including megawatt-scale projects.</li><li>Take complete ownership of company-wide sales targets, forecasting, pipeline development, and revenue delivery.</li><li>Drive high-value sales pitching, negotiations, and deal closures with corporate, industrial, and commercial clients.</li><li>Work closely with Directors to define pricing strategies, market entry plans, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.</li><li>Identify and capitalize on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning within the C&amp;I solar segment.</li><li>Lead branding, promotions, and go-to-market strategies in coordination with marketing to strengthen market visibility and credibility.</li><li>Mentor, coach, and develop Sales Managers and senior sales staff to build a strong leadership pipeline and performance-driven culture.</li><li>Ensure robust sales governance, including CRM discipline, reporting accuracy, and performance tracking across teams.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including EPC partners, consultants, investors, and large industrial clients.</li><li>Oversee proposal strategy, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations for large-scale projects.</li><li>Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, project execution, finance, and operations to ensure seamless project handover and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement across the sales function.</li></ul>nowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Strong leadership and strategic sales management capabilities</li><li>Deep understanding of C&amp;I solar solutions, megawatt-scale projects, and energy markets</li><li>Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>High level of commercial and financial acumen</li><li>Ability to identify and convert market opportunities into scalable business growth</li><li>Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Highly driven, energetic, and resilient with a strong execution mindset</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)</li><li>Master&rsquo;s in Business Administration (MBA) &ndash; Strong Advantage</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>7&ndash;10+ years of progressive sales experience in the solar / renewable energy sector</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;4 years of direct experience in Commercial &amp; Industrial (C&amp;I) solar projects, including megawatt-scale systems</li><li>Proven track record of leading large sales teams and closing high-value industrial and commercial deals</li><li>Experience with EPC, corporate, and industrial clients is essential</li><li>Residential solar experience alone will not be considered sufficient</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs280,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
