<p><b>
Position Overview</b></p>
<p>
The QA Automation Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of software products. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, performance tests, and other test types to validate product functionality and stability. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this role. You play a critical role in delivering high-quality software that meets customer expectations and contributes to the success of T2 Systems.</p>
<p><b>
Essential Position Functions</b></p>
<ul><li>Provide QA input and perspective throughout the entire product development lifecycle, following the principle of &quot;shift left&quot;</li></ul>
<ul><li>Advocate for clear requirements and collaborate with the product team to ensure requirements are met and QA processes are followed</li></ul>
<ul><li>Actively contribute to test automation, following and improving automation best practices</li></ul>
<ul><li>Estimate complex QA tasks and deliver high-quality results</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify and perform non-functional testing, including load and stress testing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Deliver testing and automation on time, resolve blockers, and communicate issues before escalation</li></ul>
<ul><li>Execute tests and automation according to provided estimates and scope</li></ul>
<ul><li>Create feature test plans, test summary reports, deployment plans, and other documentation aligned with the defined QA strategy</li></ul>
<ul><li>Promote test automation to reduce manual testing efforts</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify and resolve root causes of failed automation tests</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follow defect management procedures</li></ul>
<ul><li>Plan and execute regression testing for product releases to ensure high-quality software delivery</li></ul>
<ul><li>Share knowledge and best practices within the QA department</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify and communicate cross-product dependencies, collaborating with teams to address them</li></ul>
<ul><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within teams, the department, and the organization</li></ul><br>

<p><b>
Education and Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience</li></ul>
<ul><li>3+ years of experience in QA or Software Engineering</li></ul>
<ul><li>3+ years of experience in automated QA testing</li></ul>
<ul><li>Preferred: ISTQB/ASTQB CTFL certification or more advanced</li></ul>
<p><b>
Required Technical Skills</b></p>
<ul><li>Senior-level knowledge of ISTQB fundamental testing processes, principles, and techniques</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of non-functional testing theory and best practices (e.g., volume, load, stress, endurance testing, basic OWASP security testing)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficiency in QA automation and scripting languages (Python, pytest, and Playwright experience preferred)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent knowledge of automation best practices (e.g., clean coding, Page Object Model, Test Automation Pyramid)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Knowledge of software testing tools and best practices (e.g., SQL, REST &amp; SOAP APIs, mobile testing, Browser Dev tools, CI/CD tools)</li></ul>
<p><b>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Strong communication skills and work ethic</li></ul>
<ul><li>Skill in problem-solving, risk identification, analysis, and mitigation</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to analyze, plan, and estimate QA tasks and deliverables</li></ul>
