Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for boba and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting caf&eacute; environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly interactions and efficient service.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.</li><li>Operate the square POS or Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations.</li><li>Adhere to food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.</li><li>Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures in the caf&eacute; or food service industry.</li><li>Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.</li><li>Ability to operate POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus).</li><li>A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
