We specialize in high-color, complex simulated process printing for bands, businesses, schools, and organizations nationwide.We&rsquo;re bringing our art department in-house and are searching for a creative, driven designer who can lead the charge in quality, innovation, and artistic excellence.The RoleWe&rsquo;re seeking a Digital Graphic Designer with strong knowledge of screen printing production, color theory, and detailed art creation. This person will be responsible for running our in-house art department, working closely with production to ensure every piece of artwork is optimized for print and represents the T-Shirt Specialty quality our clients expect.The right person is a strong communicator, self-sufficient, and solution-oriented&mdash;someone who thrives on creativity, thinks outside the box, and works well within our close-knit team. We need someone who can manage projects from concept to press-ready, without hand-holding, and who genuinely enjoys collaborating in a positive, open-minded work environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Create and prepare print-ready artwork for screen printing and embroidery.</li><li>Perform color separations for simulated and spot color process printing.</li><li>Apply advanced color theory and halftone knowledge for detailed, soft-hand prints.</li><li>Manage digital proofs, communicate with clients and staff for approvals, and keep art timelines on track.</li><li>Collaborate with production to ensure accurate sizing, registration, and color accuracy using our computer-to-screen (CTS) system.</li><li>Organize and maintain artwork files, templates, and brand standards.</li><li>Provide creative direction for internal and client projects.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a screen printing shop.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.</li><li>Strong understanding of screen printing setup, underbases, halftones, and layering.</li><li>Experience preparing artwork for computer-to-screen systems (no film output).</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li></ul>Why Join Us<ul><li>Take the lead in building and shaping our new in-house art department.</li><li>Work directly with our experienced screen printing and embroidery team.</li><li>Be part of a woman-owned, fast-growing company that values art, teamwork, and innovation.</li><li>Competitive pay and room for creative and professional growth.</li><li>See your designs come to life on apparel worn nationwide.</li></ul>To ApplySend your resume, portfolio, and sample art, sample separations, or mockups to: nicole@tshirtspecialty.comJob Type: Full-timePay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 &ndash; 40 per weekWork Location: In person
