Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure &amp; Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure across Cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking, DNS and SSL management, proxy configuration, infrastructure architecture, CI/CD automation, and performance monitoring.Key Responsibilities:1. Network &amp; Security Management&bull;Manage enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewall policies, and segmentation.&bull;Administer and manage DNS services (including DynDNS).&bull;Manage SSL/TLS certificates lifecycle (generation, renewal, deployment, and compliance).&bull;Configure, deploy, and manage proxy servers.&bull;Perform log source integration with SIEM or centralized logging systems.&bull;Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security issues.2. IT Infrastructure Architecture &amp; Management&bull;Design and maintain scalable IT infrastructure architectures for internal and external clients.&bull;Manage both Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructure environments.&bull;Design, implement, and manage CI/CD automation pipelines to the Cloud.&bull;Oversee infrastructure lifecycle management including upgrades and patching.&bull;Implement infrastructure security controls and compliance standards.&bull;Monitor infrastructure performance, integrity, and availability&bull;Manage capacity and resource planning.Technical Skills &amp; Competencies:&bull;Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).&bull;Advanced understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Proxies).&bull;Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).&bull;Infrastructure performance monitoring and optimization.&bull;Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.Soft Skills:&bull;Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.&bull;Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.&bull;Detail-oriented and well organized.&bull;Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.&bull;Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Qualifications :&bull;Minimum a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field.&bull;Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar infrastructure/network engineering role.&bull;Current professional certifications for Network Technologies, IT Infrastructure Management, and Virtualization.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

Senior IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer

Main duties and responsibilities:Counselling To be the key lead for developing and maintaining a high-quality counselling service for the whole school, that enhances the mental health and wellbeing of all pupils. To offer pupils independent and confidential individual counselling and support, using a range of therapeutic interventions. To work with a diverse range of issues including bereavement and loss, transition, eating disorders, depression, anger management and erratic behavior, abuse of any kind, anxiety and fears. To employ and develop a range of solution-focused interventions to encourage confidence, independence, reflection and resilience in young people. To provide information on the counselling service, the role of the counsellor and the boundaries of confidentiality to pupils, staff and parents. To take the lead in professional consultations with staff, parent/carers, general practitioners, psychiatrists, mental health workers, social workers, school nurses and educational psychologists. Assist parents and teachers in understanding and responding to developmental levels of students. To perform duties within the codes of practice and ethics recommended by the professional bodies e-g BACP, UKCP or equivalent organizations. To promote a caring and supportive environment where such concerns may be explored thereby promoting mental and emotional health. To be alert to trends and patterns of problems and to be willing to identify causes and recommend corrective action. To attend meetings or discussion sessions with parents if asked and as appropriate within agreed confidentiality guidelines. To contribute to social education and the development of emotional wellbeing within the school through assemblies, pupil induction and group work.
