<div>Overview:
<div>Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Quality Control &amp; Safety Manager for a Systems Engineering &amp; Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4/9 for facilities, engineering and sustainment, and environmental planning and compliance at Fort Greely, Alaska. This QC/Safety Manager position will focus on the project workflow system for base maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other projects.</div><div>
</div><div><b>
Duties and Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Provide leadership, guidance, Quality Control (QC), and Safety oversight to ensure contract requirements, objectives, and standards have been achieved in accordance with applicable Statements of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statements (PWS).</li><li>
Conduct QC audits and assessments to identify, record, and report deficiencies.</li><li>
Recommend preventative and corrective action efforts, conduct Root Cause and Statistical Analyses and report findings.</li><li>
Provide technical and/or administrative recommendations to resolve issues in a timely manner.</li><li>
Reevaluate areas of concern and/or noncompliance to ensure corrective actions have adequately resolved deficiencies.</li><li>
Establish, collaborate, and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and all stakeholders.</li><li>
Travel to multiple site locations to identify, evaluate, and resolve safety and quality issues across construction, manufacturing, corporate, and industrial environments.</li><li>
Conduct detailed site-specific inspections in compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA 1910/1926, and other regulatory standards.</li><li>
Oversee site subcontractor safety officers and personnel to strengthen safety culture, reduce incidents, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.</li><li>
Serve as construction project manager and EHS lead, developing and implementing comprehensive construction safety programs for AHS Development.</li><li>
Monitor and maintain EHS compliance across all active projects, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and contract requirements.</li><li>
Oversee contractor safety performance, implementing processes to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and enforce corrective actions.</li><li>
Manage onsite quality control operations, including inspection procedures, materials validation, and subcontractor workmanship oversight.</li><li>
Control project budgets, material logistics, and construction timelines to align safety requirements with operational efficiency.</li><li>
Support marketing and sales efforts by providing safety and quality documentation, project validation, and client-facing expertise.</li><li>
Develop and deliver employee safety training programs to promote consistent hazard awareness and operational best practices.</li><li>
Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety standards, reporting accuracy, and overall site performance.</li><li>
Develop and maintain annual safety plans, annual QASP plans, redline drawings, submittal packages, and project closeout packages to ensure full compliance and accurate project documentation.</li><li>
Provide project management and safety support to compensate for DPW manpower shortages, ensuring small high-performance contractors receive the guidance.</li><li>

Responsibilities:
<div><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></div><ul><li>
Attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>
Efficiently work in a demanding and flexible environment and demonstrate ability to effectively organize, delegate, and prioritize action items.</li><li>
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>
Must be proficient using MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Teams, Outlook) with the capability to coordinate and brief the military and US Government personnel.</li><li>
Capable of planning and participating in and leading conference calls, impromptu updates, and preparing comprehensive meeting minutes.</li><li>
Ability to travel.</li><li>
Experience with inspection tools, testing equipment, and mechanical systems.</li><li>
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.</li><li>
Required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the appropriate level for the duration of the contract.</li></ul><div><b>
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Educational Requirement</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</li><li>
Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, similar to Office of Personnel Management&rsquo;s (OPM) Crediting Combinations of Education and Experience standard.</li><li>
5-7 years demonstrated/practical experience</li><li>
Must be a US citizen.</li><li>
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.</li><li>
Ability to work away from primary work location in excess of normal workday.</li><li>
Ability to travel outside the US.</li><li>
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Valid Driver License.</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
Knowledge and experience managing USG contract requirements and deliverables.</li><li>
Familiarity with Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP).</li><li>
Knowledge of U.S. Army rank, grade structure, and government civilian pay scale equivalencies.</li><li>
Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST) BCSP</li><li>
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) BCSP</li><li>
OSHA 510 &amp; OSHA 500 Trainer</li><li>
EPA/AHERA inspector</li><li>
Active security clearance with current investigation, a plus.</li></ul><div><b>

Physical Requirements</b></div><div>
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including, but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.</div><div>
