This temporary role supports patient check-in, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and front-desk operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.  Responsibilities as the Medical Receptionist (Patient Services):

 Patient Check-In:
 
 Greet patients, manage front desk workflow, and create a positive first impression.

 Appointment Scheduling:
 
 Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments using electronic systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Insurance Coordination:
 
 Verify insurance coverage and collect required documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Data &amp; Record Entry:
 
 Enter patient demographics and maintain accurate electronic and physical medical records.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Administrative Support:
 
 Assist office staff and physicians with operational tasks to ensure smooth patient care.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications for the Medical Receptionist (Patient Services):
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment required.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Industry Knowledge:
 
 Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and front office workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Technical Skills:
 
 Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems; NextGen experience a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Skills &amp; Attributes:
 
 Customer-focused, reliable communicator skilled at multitasking in fast-paced environments while maintaining patient confidentiality.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Language Preference:
 
 Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
 </li>
