Employee Value Proposition: 
This role offers a unique leadership opportunity within the Commercial team at Taiho Oncology Inc. As a Regional Business Director (RBD), you will play a crucial role in guiding and developing the Oncology Account Managers (OAM) in your region. Your efforts will be instrumental in promoting Taiho Oncology Inc’s approved product line to our external customers, ensuring high visibility and impact within the organization. The RBD will leverage their experience with key oncology customers and accounts in the Northeast region to drive business success. The Regional Business Director will reside within the Northeast Region.
 
Position Summary: 
​​This position is responsible for leading the assigned region in sales of Taiho Oncology’s approved products. The RBD reports to the Sr. National Sales Director (SNSD) and leads a team of Oncology Account Managers. In addition, the RBD will define key account strategies and sales activities in a defined geographical area. The RBDwill engage in a cross functionalteam to drive strategic imperatives with Marketing, Market Access and Commercial Operations.,The RBD will be responsible for developing short- and long-term business plans intended to meet the needs of our customers. The RBD will be required to hire, train, and motivate a group of highly talented Oncology Account Managers.
 
Performance Objectives: 
<ul>
<li>Manages a region of Oncology Account Managers representing the TaihoOncology Inc., (TOI), corporate philosophy and brand vision and strategy.</li>
<li>Recruits, selects, and develops individuals with the talent necessary to achieve competitive superiority in the market.</li>
<li>Ensures superior execution of the business brand strategy within the region by translating strategy into region specific goals, objectives and business plan which consider unique characteristics of region (geography, payer landscape, customer mix, etc.).</li>
<li>Proactively develops, reviews, and modifies the regional business plan.</li>
<li>Interprets, integrates and communicates complex data to develop communication strategies to drive performance and productivity at the territory level.</li>

<li>Identifies and secures necessary resources, people and capital to facilitate alignment with matrix team members to successfully execute the regional business plan.</li>
<li>Identifies and develops new relationships and effectively maintains existing relationships with key contacts and opinion leaders across customer base (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, etc.).</li>
<li>Developscontingency plans and makestradeoff decisions in support of strategic business priorities.</li>
<li>Effectively leads change within the organization, serves as champion for change efforts and ensures understanding and alignment around changes.</li>
<li>Manages the regionsoperational and brand product budget and ensures appropriate allocation of budget against region priorities.</li>
<li>Sets specific and measurable objectives and tracks and analyzes performance and productivity data against these measurements for the region.</li>
<li>Creates a selling culture which differentiates our products with customers based upon deep scientific, disease area and therapeutic expertise.</li>
<li>Meets sales goals utilizing approved materials and programs.</li>
<li>Holds self and team accountable for business results and the demonstration of the Taiho Oncology, Inc., Mission: "It's our work; it's our passion; it's our legacy".</li>
<li>Serves as a role model for corporate compliance and holds region accountable for compliance by ensuring all business practices within regions are compliant with the TOI Compliance Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures and all other applicable laws, regulations, policies & procedures.</li>

Education/Certification Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree in science and/or business-related discipline, or the equivalent experience.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 6+ years' experience in oncology sales.</li>
<li>Minimum 3+ years’ oncology sales management experience.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of geographic condition / customer base.</li>
<li>Understanding of environmental and industry trends, and impact on business.</li>
<li>Top performance in field sales and field sales management.</li>
<li>Experience building and leading teams of diverse backgrounds.</li>
<li>Cross-functional business experiences, e.g., marketing, access, medical.</li>
<li>Ability to formulate an effective business plan.</li>
<li>Participation in the development and implementation of strategy on a geographic or product basis.</li>
<li>Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively engage high level customers and decision makers.</li>
<li>Works with a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.</li>
<li>General understanding of oncology and the cancer care delivery macro-environment.</li>
<li>Understanding of oncology reimbursement, including orals, and the payer customer segment.</li>
<li>Experience in assessing and communicating oncology access issues to external customers.</li>
<li>Learning agility to acquire solid product and disease state knowledge to facilitate effective customer communications.</li>
<li>Travel Requirements: 25-49%</li>

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $216,750- $255,000annually. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including annual bonus/incentive comp plans, potential long term incentive plan, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate/employee receives an offer of employment.
 
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
