About the Job</b></div><div>
Seasonal Tailor/Alterations Staff are responsible for performing and completing tailor/alterations from made-to-measure and ready-to-wear garments. This includes organizing work load; carry out all tailoring/alterations according to the fitter&rsquo;s specifications.</div><div>

What You&rsquo;ll Do | Key Accountabilities
</b></div><ul><li>Follows required tailoring/alteration processes and instructions based on picking ticket comments</li><li>
Measures and marks tailoring/alteration lines</li><li>
Pins altering folds or marks on cloth at seams, darts, or necklines to indicate tailoring/alterations to be made</li><li>
Shortens or lengthens garment parts, such as sleeves or legs is required</li><li>
Expands or narrows garment parts, such as waist or chest as needed</li><li>
Raises or lowers garment parts, such as collars or lapels as needed</li><li>
Relocate or replace buttons on coats, vests and shirts</li><li>
Re-sews garment, using needle and thread or sewing machine</li><li>
Trims excess material, using scissors</li><li>
Removes stitches from garment, using ripper or razor blade</li><li>
Presses garment, using hand iron or pressing machine as needed</li><li>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>
Maintain sewing machines in good working order</li><li>
Performs work as assigned by department supervisor</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Skills &amp; Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Previous experience in tailoring/alterations</li><li>
Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity</li><li>
Good physical and mental stamina to perform tasks for a long period of time</li><li>
Working knowledge of industrial Blind Stitch and Sleeve feller sewing machines. Ability to sew by hand as required</li><li>
Working knowledge of operating a utility press &amp; spotting board table</li><li>
The ability to read and understand picking tickets</li><li>
Working knowledge of radio frequency (RF) scanner is a plus</li><li>
Basic math, counting, and problem solving skills</li><li>
Good communication skills and good command of the English language (speak, read, write, and understand English for purposes of performing necessary job duties)</li><li>
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments</li><li>
Ability to take initiative and work independently or with team members to accomplish defined goals in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment</li><li>
Ability to learn new skills and take on additional job responsibilities as needed</li><li>
Flexibility to work in all areas of production and able to work any shift during peak season is required</li><li>
Hours of operation and schedules are subject to change and may require early morning, evenings, weekends, holidays, or late night shifts</li><li>

As a Laundry and Dry Cleaning seasonal staff, you must be dependable, responsible, and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. This includes properly monitoring the efficiency, productivity, and overall workload of your team. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time, and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance. It will also be important that you display exceptional attention to detail as well as the adaptability to move to a different position in the shipping environment as required.</div><div>

What You&rsquo;ll Do | Key Accountabilities
</b></div><ul><li>Safely operate the equipment used in the Dry Cleaning Plant such as the utility press, coat tensioner, lapel press, pant utility press, pant topper, puff iron, Nt-2, shirt utility press for boys, dry cleaning, and laundry machines</li><li>Hand and sort cleaned garments as necessary</li><li>Advise management of any breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately to ensure good routine preventive maintenance on all equipment
</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Work in all areas of production of production as needed</li><li>Performs other related duties and assignments as required</li></ul><div>

About the Job</b></div><div>
Perform all tasks involved in the processing of rental tuxedos inbound and outbound. This includes breaking down and separating used tuxedo garments, scanning and bagging, cleaning and re-bagging shoes. Receiving, scanning, auditing, inspecting and putting away garments from cleaners, as well as shoes, and accessories. Pull tuxedo orders, ensure quality control, matching, and bag finished products. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.</div><div>

Breaking down and separating garments from used tuxedos</li><li>
Scanning and bagging garments to be sent to cleaners</li><li>
Cleaning and re-bagging shoes</li><li>
Receiving, auditing, and inspecting of garments returned from cleaners</li><li>
Scanning, measuring out-seams and sleeves, sorting and sizing of garments returned from cleaners</li><li>
Restock garments returned from cleaners as well as accessories for re-use</li><li>
Put away clean shoes for re-use</li><li>
Pull tuxedo orders to include coat, pants, shirts, shoes and accessories.</li><li>
Ensure quality control measures on outgoing tuxedo orders</li><li>
Matching garments and shoes on new rental orders</li><li>
Bag finished product and label destination</li><li>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>
All staff are expected to be available to work in all areas of production</li><li>
