What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.</li><li>
Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.</li><li>
Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and/or handle projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit, color, fashion etc.</li><li>
Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.</li><li>
Develop and maintain positive working relationships that support a productive work environment.</li><li>
Proactively communicate store information, brand initiatives, discrepancies, and other pertinent information to management in order to better enhance the customer experience.</li><li>

About the role
This position is responsible for the design, development, and concept of T by Talbots from concept through tech packing in partnership with the Design Director, Technical Design, and Sourcing. The core categories of internal design and development are loungewear, Active, and cut &amp; sew knitwear.
The impact you can have
<ul><li>Research global, domestic and competitive markets to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques helping to build out seasonal concept and color</li><li>
Responsible for technical package process, to include drawings, measurements and design detail specifications and prepare for hand off to Technical Design</li><li>
Maintain thorough knowledge of the line (silhouettes, yarns/fabrics and design details) and is responsible for tracking changes/additions</li><li>
Own and maintain specification sheets, trim sheets, and pitch sheets</li><li>
Oversee the creation of Design Presentation Boards</li><li>
Research competitive market and present results and ideas</li><li>
Key partners include Merchandising, Product Development/Sourcing, Technical Design, and Vendors</li></ul>
You&rsquo;ll bring to the role
<ul><li>Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li><li>
8+ years of related experience. Knowledge of Activewear a must.</li><li>
Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented</li><li>
Superior sketching ability with strong Illustrator skills</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Must be highly organized</li><li>
Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced office environment</li><li>
Must be highly collaborative in a team environment</li><li>
Strong work ethic</li><li>
Proficient with computer programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office, PLM.</li><li>
Experience using Microsoft Teams and Miro boards a plus.</li></ul>
