We are seeking a Curriculum Specialist with a strong understanding of early childhood education, classroom arrangements, and curriculum implementation monitoring. This role involves mentoring and providing on-the-job development training for teachers to enhance their effectiveness in the classroom while ensuring the successful implementation of academic programs across Centers. The Curriculum Specialist will support teachers through training, observation, and hands-on guidance, fostering a high-quality learning environment. Additionally, the role includes overseeing curriculum budgeting to ensure resources are cost-effective, well-maintained, and within budget specifications.<ul><li>Designation : Early Years Program Lead or Curriculum Specialist</li><li>Reporting to : Regional Program Manager</li><li>Qualification : Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT/Montessori/ ECE/ CIDTT trained) compulsory</li><li>Experience : Min 6 years of preschool industry exp with minimum 2 years of preschool teaching exp.</li><li>Work Timings: 9 AM - 4 PM</li><li>Location : Whitefield , Kundalahalli, Domlur, KR Puram, Hebbal &amp; Mahadevpura</li></ul>Main Responsibilities<ul><li>Work closely with center teams (Center Director, Center Admin) and the Cluster Operations Manager to ensure smooth and effective center operations.</li><li>Attend departmental, staff, and administrative meetings to address health and safety, facilities, operations, and human resource issues.</li><li>Ensure all prep schools in the region implement the curriculum according to established guidelines and parameters.</li><li>Provide academic support through curriculum implementation monitoring, lesson plan approvals, student observations, and assessment oversight.</li><li>Develop system-wide early childhood curricular objectives, including implementation and evaluation plans, and design programs that support these goals.</li><li>Develop and deliver presentations for parent orientations, open houses, and Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) to foster community involvement.</li><li>Conduct and/or develop training programs for facilitators, ensuring they are equipped with the latest instructional strategies and tools.</li><li>Supervise, train, and mentor facilitators to maximize effective curriculum usage.</li><li>Identify learning needs of facilitators and recommend professional development opportunities.</li><li>Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching by spending time in classrooms, offering constructive feedback, and introducing innovative teaching methods.</li><li>Ensure that the learning environment, resources, and training programs strictly align with organizational policies and standards.</li><li>Implement data-driven decision making processes to improve educational outcomes.</li><li>Implement best practices in service delivery to enhance the overall parent and student experience.</li><li>Interview prospective candidates for various teaching positions.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and appraisal conversations for preschool classroom facilitators.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge in early childhood education by regularly attending trainings, workshops, and reviewing relevant journals.</li><li>Assist with the overall evaluation of early childhood education programs, developing strategies for continuous improvement.</li><li>Coordinate mandatory in-service training sessions.</li><li>Guide teachers in creating effective assessments, report cards, diary entries, portfolios, and other evaluative tools.</li><li>Ensure that learning spaces are attractive and welcoming, with displays of children&rsquo;s artwork and other visual elements that promote self-esteem and celebrate student achievements.</li></ul>Individual Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensures teachers and coordinators are familiar with any changes to the Curriculum</li><li>Demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to confidentiality</li><li>Engage in mindful communication and refrain from spreading gossip</li><li>Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall program</li><li>Demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to confidentiality</li><li>Show initiative in problem solving and be open to new ideas</li><li>Be approachable and create a welcoming environment center-wide</li></ul>Additional Skills<ul><li>Ability to train and evaluate teaching staff.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in standard English.</li><li>Ability to interact with families in a nurturing, compassionate, and sincere manner</li><li>Intermediate to advanced level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer;
