The ideal candidate will bring strong experience within the trucking, transportation, logistics, or related service-based industries along with deep knowledge of banking relationships, cash flow management, insurance oversight, and operational finance leadership.This role is ideal for:<ul><li>A current CFO looking for a stable, hands-on leadership opportunity</li><li>OR</li><li>A strong Controller ready to take the next step into a broader executive finance roleWhat You&rsquo;ll Be DoingFinancial Leadership &amp; Strategy</li><li>Lead financial operations across multiple entities</li><li>Partner directly with ownership on strategic business decisions</li><li>Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning</li><li>Monitor profitability, operational performance, and cash flow strategy</li><li>Support growth initiatives and operational expansion</li></ul>Banking &amp; Cash Flow Management<ul><li>Serve as primary contact for banking and lender relationships</li><li>Oversee treasury functions, financing, and lines of credit</li><li>Prepare financial reporting for banks and financial institutions</li><li>Support long-term capital planning initiatives</li></ul>Insurance &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Manage relationships with insurance brokers and carriers</li><li>Oversee transportation-related insurance programs</li><li>Review renewals, claims trends, and risk exposure</li><li>Support cost-containment and operational risk reduction initiatives</li></ul>Accounting &amp; Operations Oversight<ul><li>Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, AP/AR, and payroll oversight</li><li>Maintain internal controls and reporting accuracy</li><li>Coordinate with external CPA firms and tax professionals</li><li>Improve financial systems, reporting, and operational visibility</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>CPA preferred</li><li>7&ndash;10+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience</li><li>Prior Controller or CFO experience strongly preferred</li><li>MUST have transportation, trucking, logistics, or related industry experience</li><li>Experience with multi-entity financial operations strongly preferred</li><li>Strong experience with:</li><li>Banking relationships</li><li>Cash flow strategy</li><li>Insurance management</li><li>Operational finance leadership</li></ul>Why This Opportunity?<ul><li>High visibility with ownership</li><li>Opportunity to help shape a growing organization</li><li>Entrepreneurial environment with strong leadership involvement</li><li>Ability to make a direct operational and financial impact</li><li>Long-term growth potential</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Base salary up to $150,000 depending on experience</li><li>Performance bonus opportunity</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with company match</li><li>PTO</li></ul>Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
