Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Social Media Marketing Specialist serves as the voice and creative force behind Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort&rsquo;s digital presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube. This role is responsible for developing content strategies, executing multimedia campaigns, and fostering real-time guest engagement to drive brand awareness, social growth, and community building. The Social Media Marketing Specialist is highly creative, strategically minded, and passionate about storytelling, digital trends, and audience engagement&mdash;while maintaining brand consistency and timely execution.</p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities </b>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul>
<li><ul><li>Develop and execute creative social media campaigns aligned with enterprise-wide marketing goals.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Create and publish high-quality, engaging content (photo, video, stories, Reels, copy, etc.) across all channels.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Capture real-time event content including live posting, behind-the-scenes moments, and post-event recaps.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure consistent and timely messaging.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Write compelling, on-brand copy tailored to each platform to drive conversation and engagement.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Monitor audience sentiment, comments, DMs, and mentions; respond in a timely, professional manner.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Track and report on analytics, campaign performance, and growth trends; adjust strategy accordingly.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Collaborate with influencers and content creators: manage outreach, briefs, approvals, and performance tracking.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Stay current with evolving platform algorithms, tools, and digital storytelling formats.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Partner with internal teams (design, culinary, eCommerce, hotel, entertainment) to support cross-channel promotions.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Maintain proper documentation such as content logs, usage rights, and photo releases.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Work with and book influencers at both properties.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Write MOU&rsquo;s for influencers.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Research influencers follow numbers.</li></ul></li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Education and Experience</b></h4><p>
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree required in Marketing or degree in closely related fields such as Business, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Advertising may be considered with demonstrated experience in marketing.3+ years of professional experience in a marketing environment is required, preferably within the casino or hospitality industry. Experience must include hands-on involvement in online marketing campaigns and/or social media management. Additional training or certifications in digital marketing, advertising, or public relations are considered a plus.</p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Computer Skills</b></h4><p>
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in managing a variety of online and social media platforms for business such as Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. Must have knowledge of social media publishing and listening tools, such as Sprout Social and/or Meta Business Suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as basic Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or graphic design is required.</p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Other Qualifications</b></h4><ul>
<li><ul><li>Knowledge of SEO, social listening, and social analytics platforms.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Experience with influencer activations and UGC campaigns.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Basic photography/videography and editing skills are a plus.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Must be a team player, solutions-oriented, and accountable.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Must always present a well-groomed, professional appearance.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Excellent grammar, storytelling, and on-brand copywriting skills</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Strong visual and creative judgment with an eye for detail and storytelling aesthetics</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and pivot quickly during live coverage.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>Flexible schedule required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holiday events.</li></ul></li>
<li><ul><li>A sense of humor, adaptability, and audience intuition are strongly preferred.</li></ul></li>
