Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training in various cosmetology disciplines, including hair styling, coloring, nail care, esthetic treatments, and more. Your expertise will help students develop practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and confidence to excel in the beauty industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of beauty specialists while fostering a vibrant learning environment.Duties<ul><li>Deliver engaging lessons on cosmetology topics such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, and body waxing</li><li>Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices</li><li>Demonstrate techniques for hair styling, coloring, threading, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance student learning</li><li>Assess student progress through practical exams, written tests, and ongoing feedback</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment adhering to health and safety regulations</li><li>Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques like dermabrasion and trigger point therapy into instruction</li><li>Support students in building professional portfolios and prepare them for licensing examinations</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven classroom experience as a cosmetology instructor or trainer in a licensed educational setting</li><li>Extensive hands-on expertise in cosmetology services including hair styling, coloring, nail care, facials, and aesthetic treatments</li><li>Knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and body treatments</li><li>Familiarity with adult education principles and effective lesson planning strategies</li><li>Experience teaching specialized techniques such as deep tissue massage, dermabrasion, laser treatments, and hair extensions</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols related to esthetic laser treatments and other aesthetic procedures</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners and foster an engaging classroom atmosphere</li></ul>Join us to empower future beauty professionals through energetic teaching and expert guidance!Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.14 - $26.67 per hourWork Location: In person
