<div><div>POSITION SUMMARY:</div><div>
The candidate will join the Legal Team and will interact with and provide legal advice to various groups across the Company, with a primary focus on supporting Targa&rsquo;s power business and assisting on regulatory matters (state and federal). This position will also partner with other attorneys across the Targa Team on various regulatory matters (such as pipeline regulatory matters) and will manage other projects within the Legal Team.</div><div>
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li><div>
Counsel business on compliance with PUCT, ERCOT, and related regulations and requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements involving electricity.</div></li><li><div>
As needed, assist with FERC and state (e.g., Railroad Commission of Texas) compliance matters for gas and liquids pipelines.</div></li><li><div>
As needed, assist with advocacy on power and other regulatory matters.</div></li><li><div>
Represent company in administrative proceedings.</div></li><li><div>
Prepare and submit regulatory filings.</div></li><li><div>
Counsel business clients regarding the regulatory impacts of proposed projects and commercial agreements.</div></li><li><div>
Work as a team with business clients and other attorneys to anticipate and respond to regulatory changes in order to achieve business objectives.</div></li><li><div>
Other duties as assigned.</div></li></ul>
<div><div>MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li><div>
Juris Doctorate, licensed to practice law in Texas (or can become immediately eligible to be admitted to the State Bar of Texas).</div></li><li><div>
6 &ndash; 10 years of legal experience, with substantial law firm experience preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Strong academic background.</div></li><li><div>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic legal environment and respond quickly to commercial demands.</div></li><li><div>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li><div>
Broad administrative law experience including knowledge of ERCOT, PUCT, and FERC regulations (including FERC regulations applicable to gas and liquids pipelines).</div></li><li><div>
Experience negotiating and drafting various power agreements potentially including power supply agreements, infrastructure development, private use networks and behind-the-meter electric supply arrangements, and utility interconnection and extension agreements.</div></li><li><div>
Experience with FERC and state (e.g., Railroad Commission of Texas) tariffs and FERC regulatory compliance matters for gas and liquids pipelines.</div></li><li><div>
Experience with providing regulatory advice in connection with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence activities.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Senior Corporate Counsel / Associate General Counsel

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>
Performing PMs, diagnose, trouble-shoot, repair, and maintain overall proper function of the following types of equipment including high-speed reciprocating compressors, low speed compressors, air compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and other plant equipment.</li><li>
Perform routine startup and shutdown of individual equipment and processes.</li><li>
Monitor usage of utilities, fuel, chemicals, lube oils, etc. to prevent excessive consumption at current processing and production rates</li><li>
Monitor and recognize dangerous and or emergency conditions within the process and performs procedures necessary to remove the condition or shutdown the process / facility in order to protect personnel and equipment</li><li>
Recognize malfunctions in individual equipment and performs maintenance as necessary to correct problems</li><li>
Monitor levels of lubricants, fluids, chemicals, etc. and refills as necessary to prevent damage to equipment</li><li>
Write work orders using MAXIMO for routine and major maintenance</li><li>
Perform other work-related duties as assigned</li><li>
Perform operations of field amine &amp; glycol treaters</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
<div><div>MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFACTIONS:</div><ul><li>
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.</li><li>
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>
Possess and maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.</li><li>
Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.</li><li>
Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision</li><li>
Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software</li><li>
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions.</li><li>
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.</li><li>
Ability to work in changing climate conditions.</li><li>
Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.</li><li>
Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex).</li><li>
