This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this job description. Key Responsibilities</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
 Sheet rock finishing experience</li>
<li> Experience working with metal and wood forms</li>
<li> Have your own hand tools</li>
<li> Knowledge of how to use power tools</li>
<li> Knowledge of how to properly read and understand construction plans, sketches, and blueprints</li>
<li> Maintain Equipment Logs</li>
<li>Operate, man-lifts and forklifts as needed</li>
</ul><div>Education:</div><ul><li>
HS Diploma</li></ul><div></div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
Candidates must be willing to work at elevated heights</li>
<li> Framing carpenters must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, such as framing lumber, sheets of plywood and other building materials</li>
<li> You must also understand math functions and calculations involving fractions Framing carpenters work from sets of blueprints, and must know how to read and interpret them</li>
<li> Building codes, on-the-job safety and basic first aid are types of skills taught through school or apprenticeship programs</li>
<li> Ability to lift 50 lbs</li>
<li> Ability to stand for long periods of time (4+ hours at a time)</li>
<li> Ability to bend, squat, reach over shoulder and head consistently</li>
<li> Ability to consistently make repetitive motion (such as cleaning rotation motion)</li>
<li> Ability to work in hot environment</li>
<li> Ability to work in a smoky smelling environment</li>
<li> Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment specific for job site such as full-face respirators, eye goggles etc</li></ul><div><br>
