 ROLE SUMMARY
 
 
 Ensure Regulatory compliances and handle Government Affairs
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 <ol>
 <li>
 Legal expertise in Media &amp; Entertainment industry. We prefer a person with experience in Broadcasting sector or who has worked with a Law firm handling Broadcasting issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact and be a bridge between Tata Play and TRAI, MIB, DoT, Industry bodies
 </li>
 <li>
 Conversant with issues to meet and explain company&rsquo;s position to various Regulatory Authorities- MIB, TRAI, DoT, WPC, NOCC and others
 </li>
 <li>
 Responding to correspondences and queries from and to Regulatory Authorities &ndash; MIB, TRAI, WPC, NOCC and others
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring timely and regulatory consistent response to MIB/TRAI Customer complaints and monitoring and managing the quality levels of the LPO handling these complaints
 </li>
 <li>
 Researching and providing inputs on the various sectoral consultation papers issued by TRAI.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interacting with relevant cross-function teams to obtain inputs for the response.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage workflow for consumer related grievances
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with several internal /external stakeholders and rapidly respond to all consumer grievances received
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis of regulatory data submitted to statutory authorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Pro-active management of various statutory timelines and corresponding actions
 </li>
 <li>
 Keen interest in identifying systemic/ procedural inefficiencies and working with cross-function teams for the process change.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify process out-sourcing opportunities and thereafter interact with relevant internal teams for operationalizing the same
 </li>

 TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Good understanding of Media &amp; Entertainment laws, Information Technology laws
 </li>
 <li>
 Government &amp; External Liaising
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to meet strict time-sensitive deadlines
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient with Microsoft words and excel
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing heavy workflow independently
 </li>
 <li>
 Good law firm experience
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATION
 
 
 B.A. LLB. with 6 yrs plus experience
