Tatte Bakery & Cafe

<div>Our front of house team members welcome and care for guests in our cafes. Counter team members will have a working knowledge of all Tatte products, delivering delicious savory dishes and pastries, operating the point-of-sale register, and keeping a clean and organized workspace, while our baristas show off their artistic coffee skills by handcrafting delicious and creative coffee beverages. We expect our front of house team members to:

<li>Have a passion for and deep knowledge of our coffee menu, our bakery and savory offerings, and genuine hospitality</li>
<li>Have a desire to help where needed and work as part of a team</li>
<li>Live from Tatte&rsquo;s core values and help Tatte deliver on its mission</li>
<li>Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, &amp; afternoons/evenings</li>
<li>(Ideally, barista team members also have at least 1 year of experience as a barista using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced restaurant/cafe)</li>

Summary of Counter Team Members&rsquo; Primary Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provides gracious and high-quality service to our guests by, among other things, welcoming guests to our cafes and engaging with them throughout their experience</li>
<li>Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge</li>
<li>Has comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products</li>
<li>Takes guests&rsquo; orders using our point-of-sale system/register</li>
<li>Executes all Tatte product and packaging standards</li>
<li>Delivers coffee beverages and food to guests</li>
<li>Maintains clean and well-stocked caf&eacute; stations</li>
<li>Actively maintains and supports caf&eacute; cleanliness and visual/brand standards</li>
<li>Complies with and follows all safety and sanitation standards at all times while adhering to our policies and procedures</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Summary of Baristas&rsquo; Primary Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provides gracious and high-quality service to our guests by, among other things, welcoming guests to our cafes and engaging with them throughout their experience</li>
<li>Has comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products</li>
<li>Prepares and serves or delivers beverages according to Tatte recipes and specifications</li>
<li>Answers guests' questions about our offerings</li>
<li>Follows all recipe and presentation standards for our beverages</li>
<li>Operates all Barista station equipment according to standards</li>
<li>Keeps the bar (including bar equipment) clean and sanitary in accordance with applicable standards and well-stocked with inventory</li>
<li>Delivers beautiful and artistic espresso beverages</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Essential Functions/Working Conditions for FOH Positions
<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Able to grasp and reach overhead</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs</li>
<li>Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet</li>
</ul>
