<div><p>Tauck is seeking an Operations &amp; Purchasing Specialist to join our Global Operations department. The Operations &amp; Purchasing Specialist will provide critical support to the operations &amp; purchasing team, assisting with processes, procedures, ticketing, coordination, purchasing and special projects to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational:
</p><ul><li>Updating Personal Documents (PDocs) &amp; Memos with cross-tour modifications
</li><li>Verifying accuracy across DxDs, 8-screens, and contracts
</li><li>Refining product allocation, TD survey, and incident distribution tables
</li><li>Supporting the cleanup and maintenance of the product calendar
</li><li>Checking sailing schedules year over year for accuracy
</li><li>Ticketing for museums, trains and other itinerary related components
</li><li>Coordinate museum operations, including monthly reporting, guest counts, private visit forms, and voucher management.
</li><li>Maintain and update tour schedules and guest records, ensuring accuracy across itineraries/systems.
</li></ul><p>Purchasing:
</p><ul><li>Overseeing the deposit tracking system
</li><li>Scanning and organizing liability documents
</li><li>Updating and enhancing the Purchasing Dashboard for future planning
</li><li>Providing pre- and post-support
</li><li>Serving as a liaison between Operations and Finance to resolve outstanding payments, update relevant systems, and coordinate with the Product and AP teams
</li><li>Sustainability data analytics
</li><li>Negotiation preparation, research, and analytics (rate comparisons, comp analysis)
</li><li>Hotels: Research and cataloging of hotel and city/regional pricing, utilizing the CoStar platform
</li><li>Supporting suppliers: Guide fee per hour, cost per kilometer for coaches &amp; luggage transport, average meal rates
</li></ul><p>SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICAITONS:
</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a business discipline preferred.
</li><li>1-2 years of proven operations and/or purchasing experience preferred.
</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
</li><li>Capable of multi-tasking and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
</li><li>Ability to adapt to new situations and maintain a positive attitude.
</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
</li><li>Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to the role.
</li><li>Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and advanced functions), as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office applications.</li></ul></div>
