 Role Purpose:
 
 
 
 To lead Health sector planning and reporting activities through overseeing the development of divisional plans, monitoring implementation progress, overseeing project management, and guiding reporting activities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES &amp; ACTIVITIES :
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Planning and Budgeting :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage the development and execution of the team&rsquo;s annual plan, budget, objectives and initiatives in line with Tawuniya&rsquo;s strategic objectives and set KPIs
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise the function&rsquo;s operations and activities within budget and contribute to the identification of strategies that result in a positive financial impact.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Sector Planning:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Keep abreast of Health insurance best practices, latest trends, and updated regulations while leveraging market research and benchmark analysis to incorporate in the planning cycle
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the focal point of contact for Strategy and Corporate Performance Office to receive established strategic directions and objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead cross-functional collaboration to collect requirements, inputs, challenges, and historical data from all Health divisions to initiate the planning cycle
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish high-level objectives and targets to devise a shared Health and Life strategy in alignment with Tawuniya&rsquo;s overall strategic direction
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the cascading of sector strategy and plans to Health functions, and establish KPIs to track the implementation of the aforementioned plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Support in integrating CX interventions in sectorial strategies and work closely with internal Health and Life functions to create cross functional teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the provision of support for Health functional plans development and implementation to ensure compliance with sector strategy and Tawuniya&rsquo;s overarching objectives
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Sector Project Management :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Guide the development of project plans in coordination with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to ensure alignment with overall portfolio and strategic initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the management of resources and the allocation of workforce across Health projects in coordination with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office to ensure prompt implementation of project plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate consolidated project reports to assess project plan implementation and validate progress against pre-set targets and milestones
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the generation of reports pertaining to Health projects for Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee Health projects to identify emerging risks, deviations, improvement mechanisms and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate risks and enable improvement initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee archiving, documentation, and project closure activities including evaluations, and identification of improvements for next cycle in line with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS :
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required
 </li>
 <li>
 A Master&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 7 years of experience in insurance field with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial position
 </li>

 Field Sales Planning:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain collaboration with Marketing and Sales Support to gather material needed (i.e., presentations, brochures, etc.) that support the sales cycle
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure Sales Support is aligned on requirements such as documents collection, quotation issuance timeline, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on insights and recommendations communicated by Sales Excellence and Quality to ensure all customer pain points are addressed.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Field Sales Operations:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Engage in meetings with key potential customers while leveraging due diligence to optimize sales approach and increase chances of sales closure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on advice and consultancy delivered to potential customer and provide guidance for large accounts advisory to ensure awareness on Tawuniya&rsquo;s value proposition and products
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage in visits to customer premises when needed and provide guidance for policy negotiations
 </li>
 <li>
 Review new potential leads and consolidate list based on referrals, type of industry/field, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review sales performance reports and devise improvements accordingly to enhance field sales activities
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Policies, Procedures and Processes:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance productivity, attain high quality outputs, and cost effective results in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise day-to-day activities ensuring compliance with stipulated policies, procedures and processes, and escalate identified non-compliance cases
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 People Management:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Participate in the acquisition and selection of potential new talent, and integration of new joiners and provide sufficient on the job training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to setting team members&rsquo; objectives, clarifying expectations, reviewing performance periodically, providing regular feedback, coaching, and confronting unsatisfactory behavior or performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Support in identifying team members&rsquo; development requirements, and the evaluation of learning interventions&rsquo; effectiveness on performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to managing team members working plans e.g., leaves, working hours and etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote a productive working environment
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance or sales field with preferably 1 year of experience in supervisory position
 </li>
