Job Description 
Leading a team of two on marketing planning &amp; execution to drive market share and revenue growth across key industries such as Energy, Oil and Gas, Engineering, and Finance. This role also includes responsibility for driving demand for our suite of advertising services across all industries and customer groups. This role will be closely focused on KPIs to support revenue growth, and will work closely with commercial teams to drive the lead pipeline for new business acquisition, lead on delivering engagement strategies, and work with customer success teams on delivering measurable value to customers. Ensure that agreed value creation metrics are achieved and recommendations made, for action or change, effectively influencing the wider marketing group as required. Update the Director of Corporate Marketing Development on wider changes in the marketplace and support them in developing go to market strategies for new service development, new product launches, or new routes to markets as required. Interpreting marketing data insight &amp; campaign analysis critical to understand resource prioritisation for return on effort.
Work with peers across the department to find solutions, refine operational activities for efficiency, and find scale for our programmes. Develop team members which contribute to value creation &amp; a culture of empowerment &amp; enablement where all voices are heard to contribute to the value creation of the department for customers &amp; experts we serve.
What you'll be doing:<ul><li>
Effectively manage and report back on budget spend and return</li><li>
Monitor and analyse sales patterns and other performance measures to build marketing strategies and tactics which create value and support the business growth ambitions</li><li>
Lead, performance manage and monitor the team of four direct reports, fostering a culture of enablement &amp; empowerment where every colleague understands their value creation for the business</li><li>
Proactively engage and listen to corporate customer feedback and requirements and actively collaborate across internal stakeholders to support new developments including the editorial pipeline and focus based on customer need and insight</li><li>
Explore and support initiatives to enhance corporate user experience in enabling access to content in line with corporate customer preference</li><li>
Put data at the heart of all decisions</li><li>
Build effective long-term &amp; strategic relationships both internal (commercial, product, editorial etc) and external (e.g. 3rd party services suppliers, relevant associations) &amp; have the ability to effectively influence outcomes</li><li>
Ensure commercial viability by keeping costs firmly at the centre of conversations</li><li>
Maintain and develop an awareness of external issues and market developments, including competitor activities, needs of customers, advances in technology, professional trends, and share findings with the business and team.</li><li>
Support on developing and delivering new product launches.</li><li>
Produce marketing activity and analysis reports for senior management; make recommendations to senior management for improvements to team and departmental objectives</li></ul> 

Qualifications

Proven track record of goal-achievement in a marketing manager role</li><li>
Successful experience in managing a product portfolio or customer channel</li><li>
Industry and market expertise especially related to marketing to corporates</li><li>
Demonstrable customer and commercial awareness &ndash; including the competitive environment, potential partner organisations and market trends</li><li>
Global marketing experience in a high growth environment seeking to build campaigns to optimise untapped or under- developed market potential</li><li>
Excellent marketing portfolio/channel, relationship, &amp; communication management skills</li><li>

Understanding of statistical and financial information and high level of numeracy</li><li>
