Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator&rsquo;s Assistant to aid and assist the operator by loading, packaging or catching of materials.

Your Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assisting in the setup of equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a productive manner.</li><li>
Maintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance schedule.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>
Accurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen system.</li></ul>
Your Shift: 2nd Shift Mon.-Thur. 3pm-1am
You Must Have:<ul><li>
Ability to stand, lift, bend and flex for a full shift</li><li>
Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail and analytic problem-solving skills</li><li>
Work well independently as well as in a team environment</li><li>
Basic math and computer skills</li></ul>
Requirements Within This Position:<ul><li>
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand</li><li>
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position</li><li>
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials</li><li>
Frequently required to move inside the facility</li><li>
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)</li></ul>
We Would Also Prefer:<ul><li>
Experience in a production related environment preferred</li></ul>

Your Opportunity: Taylor Print &amp; Visual Impressions, a Taylor company, is looking for an Equipment Operator (Cutter/Folder/Stitcher Operator) to join our team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you will perform a variety of bindery and finishing tasks including equipment setup, operation, and product finishing to ensure production runs efficiently and products meet quality standards.

Your Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers according to job specifications</li><li>
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed</li><li>
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards</li><li>
Report quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel</li><li>
Load and unload materials onto and from equipment</li><li>
Store materials properly according to company guidelines</li><li>
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment</li><li>
Report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors</li><li>
Maintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance records</li><li>
Read job tickets to ensure equipment is set up correctly and all required work is completed</li><li>
Finish products according to job ticket instructions</li><li>
Interpret information from bindery paperwork, planning sheets, layouts, dylux, and job tickets</li><li>
Complete tasks according to production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products</li><li>
Follow established process and quality guidelines while performing job duties</li><li>
Examine and adjust finished products to ensure quality standards are met</li><li>
Report defective materials or questionable quality issues to the department Supervisor or Lead</li></ul>
Your Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
You Must Have:
<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, and memos</li><li>
Ability to perform basic math calculations</li><li>
Ability to use basic handheld tools such as rubber straps, plastic bags, packaging materials, cardboard boxes, and tape dispensers used in production and packaging</li><li>
Ability to maintain consistent quality while meeting production pace and throughput expectations</li><li>
Ability to perform basic equipment setup and adjustments</li><li>
Ability to recognize production or quality issues and notify a lead or supervisor</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li></ul>

Your Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Performs the physical and/or administrative duties involved in the functions pertaining to the shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing of equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar items</li><li>Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods and enters into the inventory control system</li><li>Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehouse</li><li>Pull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floor</li><li>Pick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packages</li><li>Use various shipping systems for FedEx, UPS, and USPS</li><li>Adjust to a fast-paced and quickly changing environment</li><li>Assist in monthly inventory cycle counting</li><li>May operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods</li><li>Perform other warehouse and shipping duties as needed</li><li>Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment</li><li>Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability</li><li>Receives and unpacks materials and supplies</li><li>Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes</li><li>Completes shipping and receiving reports.</li></ul></div>

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation&rsquo;s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
