Here's a summary of responsibilities: 
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Associate IT Infrastructure Generalist to support and maintain our core IT infrastructure systems. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience across multiple infrastructure domains including server administration, networking, end-user support, and systems monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring practical experience with Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, and basic server and network hardware maintenance. 
Here&rsquo;s how you&rsquo;ll have an impact:<ul><li>
Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for core IT systems including Active Directory, Exchange (on-premises or O365), and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Basic experience configuring and troubleshooting Azure, Amazon AWS, and/or Google cloud platform services and applications.</li><li>
Tier 3 liaison between infrastructure team and service desk.</li><li>
Assist in the management of virtual machines using VMware.</li><li>
Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, switch/router diagnostics, wireless diagnosis, and cable installations.</li><li>
Support the setup and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and perform battery checks and replacements as needed.</li><li>
Support the installation and removal of physical hardware including servers, switches, access points, firewalls, UPS equipment, and network cabling.</li><li>
Preferred experience monitoring IT infrastructure using tools like WhatsUp Gold, responding to alerts and escalating issues when appropriate.</li><li>
Assist in user account management, group policy administration, and email configuration tasks.</li><li>
Document standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records of system configurations and incidents.</li><li>
Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, patch management, and other infrastructure improvement efforts. On call as required.</li><li>
Maintain an organized and secure IT environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Documentation and knowledge base experience using Microsoft office products including but not limited to Visio.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology or related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.)</li><li>
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar.</li><li>
1&ndash;3 years of experience in an IT support or infrastructure-related role.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange administration.</li><li>
Experience with virtual machine management (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).</li><li>
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, cabling).</li><li>
Hands-on experience supporting or maintaining UPS battery backup systems.</li><li>
Familiarity with WhatsUp Gold or similar infrastructure monitoring platforms.</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.</li><li>
Ability to follow standard procedures and accurately document technical work.</li><li>
Excellent communication and time management skills.</li><li>
Experience working in a hybrid or on-premises server environment.</li><li>
Exposure to ITIL practices and documentation standards.</li></ul>

Here's some more information you need to know:<ul><li>
Hiring pay range $56,845 - $72,194 per year</li><li>
This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.</li><li>
Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 10% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.</li><li>
