About the Role: 
We're looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers our client’s platform. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure systems are secure, observable, cost-effective, and scalable as the platform grows. This role is hands-on. You'll be responsible for both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements to cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and security posture. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of core infrastructure components and be trusted to make architectural decisions within agreed guardrails.
 
Requirements: 
Cloud & Infrastructure
 <ul>
<li>Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS across multiple regions</li>
<li>Manage complex multi-VPC architectures</li>
<li>Own infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation (primary), with AWS CDK (Python) used selectively where it provides clear maintainability benefits</li>
<li>Deploy and maintain environments across development, test, staging, and production</li>
<li>Manage EC2 instances, RDS (SQL Server), Redis, and Elasticsearch clusters</li>
<li>Configure and maintain VPN connections and Active Directory integration (primarily for authentication and access control)</li>
<li>Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness across multi-AZ deployments</li>
</ul>
CI/CD & Engineering Enablement
 <ul>
<li>Maintain and improve Jenkins pipelines integrated with Bitbucket</li>
<li>Support automated deployments with change-set validation and rollback strategies</li>
<li>Manage deployment automation using bash-based scripts</li>
<li>Coordinate deployments across multiple environments and regions</li>
<li>Work with engineering teams to improve build performance, testing, and release confidence</li>
<li>Help standardise environments and reduce "works on my machine" issues</li>
</ul>
Security & Compliance
 <ul>
<li>Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud and application layers</li>
<li>Manage WAF (Web Application Firewall) configurations with regional and global logging</li>
<li>Support compliance requirements (e.g. PCI-DSS, PSD2, data protection)</li>
<li>Manage secrets and credentials using AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store</li>
<li>Handle certificate lifecycle management with ACM</li>
<li>Configure and maintain security groups, NACLs, and network segmentation</li>
<li>Work closely with engineering and leadership on risk, audits, and incident response</li>
</ul>
Monitoring, Reliability & Cost
 <ul>
<li>Own and maintain the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat) for centralised logging and observability</li>
<li>Configure CloudWatch alarms, metrics, and dashboards</li>
<li>Proactively identify performance, reliability, and cost optimisation opportunities</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and lead root-cause analysis and post-incident improvements</li>
<li>Monitor and optimise CloudFront distributions, S3 storage, and data transfer costs</li>
</ul>
Automation & Tooling
 <ul>
<li>Develop and maintain bash scripts for deployment automation and operational tasks</li>
<li>Build and maintain Lambda functions (Python, Go, Node.js) for automation and integration</li>
<li>Manage Lambda@Edge functions for CloudFront request/response handling</li>
<li>Automate certificate provisioning, DNS management (Route53), and service discovery</li>
<li>Create tooling for environment provisioning, instance management, and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to evolve existing bash-based automation into more maintainable patterns over time where appropriate</li>
</ul>
Collaboration & Ownership
 <ul>
<li>Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and leadership</li>
<li>Provide guidance to developers on cloud-native patterns and operational best practices</li>
<li>Document infrastructure patterns, deployment procedures, and runbooks</li>
<li>Help shape the DevOps roadmap as the platform scales</li>
<li>You won’t be operating in isolation — infrastructure decisions are shared with engineering leadership, and there is active investment in reducing operational load through automation</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience
 <ul>
<li>Strong experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer in a production environment</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with AWS core services:</li>
<li>Compute: EC2, Lambda, Lambda@Edge</li>
<li>Networking: VPC, VPN, Route53, CloudFront, WAF</li>
<li>Storage: S3, EBS</li>
<li>Database: RDS (SQL Server experience preferred)</li>
<li>Security: IAM, KMS, Systems Manager Parameter Store, ACM</li>
<li>Monitoring: CloudWatch</li>
<li>Experience with CloudFormation (templates, nested stacks, change sets)</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, or similar)</li>
<li>Solid Linux knowledge and comfort working via CLI</li>
<li>Strong bash scripting skills for automation</li>
<li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, security groups, CIDR, VPNs, DNS)</li>
<li>Experience managing multi-environment, multi-region infrastructure</li>
</ul>
Nice to Have
 <ul>
<li>Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated environments (PCI-DSS, PSD2)</li>
<li>AWS CDK experience (Python preferred)</li>
<li>Familiarity with .NET / Node.js application stacks</li>
<li>Experience with SQL Server administration and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Knowledge of Elasticsearch / ELK stack configuration and management</li>
<li>Experience with containerisation (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)</li>

About the Role: 
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the reliability, correctness, and quality of our client’s platform. You’ll be responsible for designing test cases, executing manual and automated testing, and validating both UI and API-level behaviour across the platform. This role is hands-on and balanced across manual testing, test design, automation, and API testing. You’ll play an important role in shaping testing practices as the platform continues to grow.
 
Requirements: 
Test Planning & Design
 <ul>
<li>Analyse product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define comprehensive test coverage</li>
<li>Write clear, structured test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios</li>
<li>Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects</li>
<li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements and identify risk areas early</li>
</ul>
Manual Testing
 <ul>
<li>Execute manual test cases across web applications and APIs</li>
<li>Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and unexpected behaviours</li>
<li>Validate fixes and perform regression testing prior to releases</li>
<li>Test across different environments (development, test, staging, production validation where applicable)</li>
</ul>
API Testing
 <ul>
<li>Design and execute API test cases using Postman</li>
<li>Create and maintain Postman collections covering core workflows and edge cases</li>
<li>Write automated Postman scripts (pre-request scripts, test assertions) using JavaScript</li>
<li>Validate request/response payloads, authentication, error handling, and data integrity</li>
<li>Use API testing to support faster feedback loops and reduce reliance on UI-only testing</li>

<li>Strong experience with manual testing and test case design</li>
