Job description<ul><li>Understanding the business requirements, features and functionalities of the product</li><li>Designing and developing web scraping agents for the required source e.g. website</li><li>Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web scraping agents</li><li>Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code</li><li>Integrating data storage solutions</li><li>Creating back-end components</li><li>Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs</li><li>Connecting with 3rd party APIs</li></ul>Required Candidate profile<ul><li>Experience in web scraping techniques, regular expressions is a must</li><li>Excellent verbal and written English communication is mandatory</li><li>Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances</li><li>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming</li><li>Proficiency in parsing and manipulating HTML, XML, JSON data formats.</li><li>Knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and web protocols.</li><li>A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code</li><li>Ability to integrate multiple data sources into one system</li><li>Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application</li><li>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT</li><li>Familiarity with development aiding tools such as Bundler, Rake, etc</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;300,000.00 - &#8377;1,200,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>How much is your current CTC?</li><li>How much is your expected CTC?</li><li>How quickly can you join us?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Ruby on Rails: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Web Scraping: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>
