 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>

 Financial Reporting:
 
 Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Closing Procedures:
 
 Manage the month-end and year-end close cycles, including the review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations (Bank, Intercompany, Fixed Assets).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Audit &amp; Compliance:
 
 Act as the primary liaison for external auditors. Ensure all documentation and work papers are audit-ready and manage the implementation of internal controls (SOX where applicable).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Tax &amp; Treasury:
 
 Oversee tax compliance filings (VAT/GST/Sales Tax) and manage cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Process Improvement:
 
 Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounting workflow, specifically focusing on ERP optimization and the automation of manual tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Team Leadership:
 
 Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and AP/AR clerks to ensure professional development and high-quality output.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Budgeting &amp; Analysis:
 
 Collaborate with the FP&amp;A team to provide variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget) and support departmental heads with financial insights.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Education:
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master&rsquo;s degree (MAcc/MBA) is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Certification:
 
 
 CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
 
 or
 
 ACCA
 
 certification is strongly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Technical Skills:
 
 * Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert-level Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with automated reconciliation or BI tools (e.g., BlackLine, Power BI, or Tableau).
 </li>
