Location: Karachi Industry: Sportswear, Teamwear, Custom Apparel Employment: Full-timeA sportswear manufacturing company in Karachi is looking for an experienced and responsible Production / Factory Manager to handle day-to-day operations, manage production teams, ensure timely order completion, and provide accurate daily reporting to the management.Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning &amp; Execution<ul><li>Convert customer orders into detailed production plans.</li><li>Set daily/weekly targets for cutting, printing/embellishment, stitching, and finishing teams.</li><li>Monitor WIP (work in progress) throughout the day and remove bottlenecks.</li><li>Ensure all orders are completed on the committed timelines.</li></ul>2. Technical &amp; Process Supervision<ul><li>Oversee pattern, cutting, stitching, and finishing processes.</li><li>Approve the first sample before bulk production.</li><li>Ensure measurements, size specifications, and quality standards are followed.</li><li>Maintain disciplined and accurate cutting to reduce wastage.</li></ul>3. Quality Control<ul><li>Implement QC checks at each production stage.</li><li>Identify defects early and prevent rework.</li><li>Keep logs of rejections, alterations, and overall quality issues.</li></ul>4. Material &amp; Inventory Control<ul><li>Issue fabric and materials order-wise based on consumption requirements.</li><li>Track planned vs actual consumption for each order.</li><li>Coordinate with stores/purchasing for timely material availability.</li></ul>5. Team Management &amp; Floor Discipline<ul><li>Supervise workers across cutting, printing/embellishment, stitching, finishing, and packing.</li><li>Monitor daily attendance, productivity, and discipline.</li><li>Train team members to meet quality standards and improve efficiency.</li><li>Manage overtime and manpower allocation as needed.</li></ul>6.
