<b>About the Role</b> We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and the Vert.x framework to design and build high-performance, event-driven services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern backend development, strong database skills, and proven ability to deliver cloud-native microservices at scale.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Vert.x.
<br>
Implement gRPC-based microservices to support scalable, distributed systems.
<br>
Build efficient and type-safe database queries using JOOQ.
<br>
Work with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB for robust data management.
<br>
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes.
<br>
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines.
<br>
Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability for production workloads.
<br>
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning Stay updated with latest backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

<b>Must-Have Skills
</b><br>
Programming Languages: Kotlin (strong hands-on experience).
<br>
Frameworks: Vert.x (event-driven, asynchronous programming).
<br>
Database Access: JOOQ for type-safe queries. Microservices: gRPC-based service development.
<br>
Databases: PostgreSQL or CockroachDB. Cloud &amp; Deployment: Kubernetes (container orchestration).
<br>
Nice-to-Have Skills Prior exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native services.
<br>
Experience in distributed systems, scalability, and high-performance services.
<br>
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
<br>
