Responsibilities: &ndash; Under close and frequent supervision, assists engineers by performing the routine aspects of engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company.&ndash; Performs design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment.Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/ her discipline group. Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes.&ndash; Researches code issues and works with city, state, and county officials. Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.&ndash; Assists with other duties assigned by Engineers and/or Project Managers. May attend &ldquo;kick-off&rdquo; and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progresses.&ndash; Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: &ndash; BSME/BSEE/BSAE from ABET accredited school preferred but not required.&ndash; EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) preferred but not required.Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
