Instructional DesignerMerrifield, VAThis is a hybrid position. In office expectations will be two days per week until March 31, 2025. Starting April 1, 2025 in office expectations will be three days per week.At least three years of experience in training/instruction. Applicants with experience in graphic design and animation are strongly preferred.<ul><li>Plan and manage instructional design projects and initiatives</li><li>Develop instructional courses tailored to meet the desired learning outcomes and needs of the learners using tools such as the Articulate Suite, Adobe Express, Camtasia, and Adobe Illustrator</li><li>Utilize a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content</li><li>Create curriculum by quickly and efficiently processing large volumes of information and collaborating with stakeholders to conduct research on the subject matter</li><li>Create and maintain LMS learning activities, set up required training assignments in LMS, and create custom LMS reports</li><li>Select, modify, or establish a design and development model appropriate for a given project and analyze learning needs to assist in establishing learning objectives with stakeholders</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of courses to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved</li><li>Implement stakeholder feedback to make modifications or adjustments to created courses</li><li>Design communications, newsletters, and flyers related to training and department communications</li><li>Create engaging and interactive learning modules, animations, and videos to promote learning and development</li></ul>Desired Qualifications<ul><li>Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflow</li><li>Ability to compile, organize, and present information clearly and concisely</li><li>Experiences in writing course content and developing courses, graphic designs, video, animation, and other technology driven products</li><li>Experience creating custom illustrations to convey learning themes</li><li>Advanced knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, tools, and resources</li><li>Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills to juggle multiple projects at once</li><li>Effective communication skills to interact tactfully and effectively with stakeholders</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractWork Location: Hybrid remote in Pensacola, FL
