The Buyer will be responsible for identifying and procuring materials, goods, and services required by the organization. This role involves researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, supplier management, and cost analysis. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.</li><li>Manage purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and sourcing strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to define purchasing needs and specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.</li><li>Resolve any supplier-related issues and discrepancies.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.</li><li>Strong negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.</li><li>Familiarity with vendor evaluation and sourcing strategies.</li><li>Experience working with suppliers in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, or related sectors.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Proficiency in SAP procurement software and systems.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Relocation assistance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Buyer OR Purchasing: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Aerospace: 4 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
