Early Childhood EducatorDuties:- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.- Support toddlers and developing basic self help skills.- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.- Encourage cooperative play and help children build early social skills (e.g., potty training).- Guide behavior using positive discipline strategies and redirection.- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's growth and daily experiences.- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes child welfare and development.- Provide physical education opportunities to enhance gross motor skills and coordination.Experience: Required- Experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.- Knowledge of child safety standards, first aid, and emergency procedures.- Ability to manage classroom routines and transitions effectively.- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and colleagues.- Experience supporting toilet training and basic self-help skill development for young children.- Ability to guide behavior positively and constructively.- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and I engaging classroom space.- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.All (4) Clearances, trainings, along with a mantoux test dated within the past year, are required.To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter highlighting your relevant experience in early childhood education.Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 15 &ndash; 20 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Childcare: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
