RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul><li>
Acts as Job Controller/Change Manager for the Cyber Support Squadron (CySS) and works in coordination with three other squadron Job Controllers personnel.</li><li>
Responsible for distributing, tracking, and ensuring prioritization of all changes/jobs assigned to production work centers (PWCs) under their charge.</li><li>
Coordinate with developmental and operational teams (Project/Configuration Managers) to maintain baselines, supporting operational systems.</li><li>
Report the status of changes/jobs to customer leadership and to the Communications Focal Point (CFP).</li><li>
Use automated ticketing tools to assign or re-assign tasks/jobs between Production Work Centers (PWCs).</li><li>
Implement US Air Force job control procedures consistent with Technical Order (TO) 00-33A-1001.</li><li>
Assist PWCs and technicians with detailed information as needed.</li><li>
Provide updates to the CFP's common operational picture (COP) for senior leader updates.</li><li>
Establish and execute job control procedures in support of customer goals and current DoD regulations.</li></ul><div><b>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Possesses an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.</li><li>
Possesses an active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (ex. Security+).</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or greater. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>
2 or more years of experience with Queue/Change/Configuration Management.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills and an ability to manage/analyze operational information concerning change management/job control.</li><li>
Ability to develop strong relationships with customers.</li><li>
Proven experience as a self-starter; successfully operating/producing results with limited daily direction.</li><li>
Demonstrated proficiency in organizational, project, and time management skills.</li><li>
Proven ability to work effectively and independently within a team environment.</li><li>
Exceptional ability to solve problems and think analytically.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail.</li></ul><div><b>
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Possess and demonstrate superb customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks along with extensive knowledge and experience in specialized area of expertise, especially as it relates to the Department of Defense (DoD)</li><li>
Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline.</li><li>
Experience with JFHQ-DoDIN TASKORDs, MTOs, and IAVMs.</li><li>
Strong written communication skills and an ability to coordinate issues and concerns with leadership, peers, and associated teams.</li><li>
Experience with Remedy or an equivalent ticketing system.</li><li>
Prior Air Force experience.</li></ul>
Overview:
<p>
We are seeking a Job Controller/Change Manager for the AFNCR IT Services program. The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering. The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. Desktop Support is responsible for providing support, repair and/or installation support of existing and new hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within the 300-mile radius of the NCR. Duties may include but are not limited to providing support in the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, assisting in the development and ensuring adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changes, and supporting continuity of operations (COOP) exercises and activations as needed.</p><div>
