TekniPlex Healthcare is a respected business partner that specializes in the manufacturing of medical and pharmaceutical packaging for companies around the world. We aim to deliver better patient outcomes by manufacturing products that allow for less invasive procedures, reduced pain, faster healing, and safer drug delivery. We are currently hiring 3rd shift teammates in our Maintenance Department, located in Madison, Wisconsin.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of flexographic printing manufacturing equipment, as well as completing preventive maintenance. Qualified candidates need to be able to work independently, have thorough knowledge of basic shop skills, read blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing or plant equipment</li>
<li>Basic shop skills that include welding/metal fabrication</li>
<li>Ensure the work area is clean, following good housekeeping practices</li>
<li>Adhere to standard safety practices, including wearing personal protective equipment as required</li>
<li>Read blueprints, understand plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems</li>
<li>Follow plant preventative maintenance procedures</li>
<li>Follow and participate in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines</li>
<li>Attend and participate in maintenance department, plant and safety meetings</li>
<li>Assist in capital improvement projects</li>
<li>Make repairs in a timely manner, while working under pressure</li>
<li>Assist other departments with improvement projects</li>
<li>Capable of data entry and some analysis of Maintenance Management System</li>
<li>Complete required forms legibly</li>
</ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>3-5 years' work related experience in Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical fields</li>
<li>Experience with basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relays.)</li>
<li>Experience with product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to make repairs.)</li>
<li>Experience with schematics (electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, and relays.)</li>
<li>Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns</li>
<li>Experience with reading mechanical drawings</li>
<li>The ability to communicate issues while also conveying the solutions as well</li>
<li>Be willing to extend your scheduled shifts in order to receive onsite or offsite training</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment</li>
</ul>
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete timecards and work orders. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to effective present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic, flammable or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
