Under the direction of the Director of Safety and Risk, this position is responsible for the administration of all Workers&rsquo; Compensation, General Liability, Auto Liability, and Property Damage claims as well as the general support of the Safety department. What you&rsquo;ll do</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Supports, investigates, and documents all aspects of WC, GL, AL and Property claims;</li><li>
Reviews and evaluates damage claims and makes recommendations for resolution;</li><li>
Facilities and maintains extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders in the claims process;</li><li>
Maintains a high level of communication internally regarding claims status updates as well as externally with claimants, insurers, and insurance brokers;</li><li>
Actively participates in Company and Corporate claim reviews;</li><li>
Conducts claims audits to find trends to monitor for safety compliance concerns and makes recommendations to Safety Director for training opportunities;</li><li>
Supervises accurate classifications and entry of new claim information, claim payments, and reserves on computer system, inputting concise yet sufficient file documentation for accurate and appropriate management;</li><li>
Researches claims and records correspondence and other pertinent back-up documentation;</li><li>
Conducts training with appropriate employees on the claims process;</li><li>
Analyzes claims to determine the extent of Company liability;</li><li>
Maintains claim files such as records of settled claims and an inventory of claims requiring detailed analysis, including regular follow up in a timely and professional manner;</li><li>
Collects Liability Releases in all settlements;</li><li>
Files insurance claims as required;</li><li>
In conjunction with Management and the Company HR department, hires and effectively leads department team members; prepares and executes employee-related documentation as needed;</li><li>
Maintains a keen understanding of trends, developments, and best practices in the telecommunications industry, safety, and claims;</li><li>
Acts as a liaison between Corporate and field offices in regards to claim processing and closure;</li><li>
All other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you&rsquo;ll need</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Business, Occupational Safety and Health, Education, or a field with transferrable skills, and 2-4 years of related work experience, or combination of education and experience required;</li><li>
2 or more years of Supervisory experience preferred;</li><li>
In depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry, insurance, or risk management;</li><li>
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, correspondence and memos;</li><li>
Effective and respectful written and verbal communication with all applicable stakeholders, both internal and external, at all levels of the organization;</li><li>
Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to solve practical problems;</li><li>
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a strong attention to detail;</li><li>
Proficient use of computer hardware and software including but not limited to Internet software and databases. Familiarity with Googled-based applications is preferred;</li><li>
Understanding and use of general arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, units of measure and weight using whole numbers, fractions and decimals;</li><li>
Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed;</li><li>
Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance;</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with favorable driving record required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

The wage range for Lead Claims is $65,000.00</b><b> - $85,000.00</b><b>.</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
