 TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an onsite Data Entry Clerk
 
 to support one of our Federal Government clients in a high-volume, highly regulated records and administrative environment.
 
 
 This role is responsible for accurate data entry, file creation, document scanning, and records support while maintaining strict compliance with government procedures.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Create electronic records for new files in accordance with Government regulations and required deadlines
 </li>
 <li>
 Consolidate and reorganize sensitive files
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and create physical and digital file jackets
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform data inquiries and searches across Government systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate ad hoc reports as requested
 </li>
 <li>
 Scan high-volume, multi-page documents accurately and efficiently
 </li>
 <li>
 Support additional administrative and records-related tasks as assigned
 </li>
 <li>
 Navigate and work within Government-based data systems and workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accuracy and accountability while handling sensitive and regulated information

 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Must be a U.S. Citizen

 High school diploma or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust &ndash; Level 3 (PT-3) clearance
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience in clerical, filing, records management, or administrative support roles
 </li>

 Experience supporting Government operations or high-volume documentation environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong typing proficiency (minimum 30 WPM)
 </li>
 <li>
 Clear written and verbal English comprehension
 </li>

 TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a
 
 Data Entry Specialist.
 
 
 This is a hybrid position based in the following locations:
 
 DC, Maryland Counties of Charles, Prince George; Virginia Counties of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fauquier, Loudoun, Manassas, Manassas Park, Prince William, Dallas and Stafford.
 
 
 
 Note:
 
 The hourly wage is determined by location:
 
 $17.44 - $19.11
 
 
 As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately handling electronic payroll documents and ensuring seamless data management.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll processes, as well as transcription experience, enabling them to manage critical information with precision.
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review electronic payroll documents submitted by contractors and subcontractors across the United States.
 </li>
 <li>
 Transcribe wage and project data from scanned PDFs into government-provided Excel spreadsheets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capture critical data elements including:
 </li>
 <li>
 Employee classification and identification number
 </li>
 <li>
 Hourly pay rates and fringe benefits
 </li>
 <li>
 Union status of employees
 </li>
 <li>
 Name and address of construction project
 </li>
 <li>
 Contractor and subcontractor information
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete transcription assignments for surveys covering up to three years of payroll data, often with overlapping survey schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure accuracy of at least 98%, as verified through random sampling by the Program Office.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver all complete and accurate survey data files within 10 calendar weeks of receipt from the Program Office.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide electronic copies of all data or materials developed, as requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in onboarding and transition activities, ensuring smooth adoption of procedures, documentation, and communication standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere strictly to Government security and privacy requirements, including safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and sensitive payroll data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support continuity of operations during federal holidays, inclement weather, or emergency closures, as directed by the Government.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience; prior federal contract or payroll transcription experience highly desirable.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Technical Skills:

 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, formatting, and quality checks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret scanned payroll forms and transcribe into standardized formats.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with secure handling of sensitive data and records management protocols.
