 Position Summary
 
 
 
 Reporting to the Senior Training Specialist, the Associate Training Specialist will support the development and delivery of health, safety, and compliance training within the Environmental Health &amp; Radiation Safety (EHRS) department. The Associate Training Specialist will help coordinate legally required and operationally important trainings for staff, faculty, and students.
 
 
 In addition to facilitating smaller-scale training sessions, the role will assist in updating course materials, transitioning content into e-learning formats, and maintaining accurate training records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
 
 
 This is a hands-on position well-suited for someone interested in training development, safety regulations, and continuous improvement in a higher education setting. Perform other related duties as assigned.

 Required Education And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g., environmental health, public health, psychology, education, instructional design, occupational health, safety sciences, or life science discipline).
 </li>
 <li>
 At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a professional training role in regulated research, research, healthcare, or industrial setting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to learn, interpret, and apply environmental health and safety regulations in a training context.
 </li>
 <li>
 A combination of education and experience may be considered.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Education And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience using or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with regulatory topics such as Hazard Communication, Biosafety, Bloodborne Pathogens, Chemical Hygiene, or Radiation Safety.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience in higher education, healthcare, research, or a laboratory environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of instructional design principles or adult learning theory.

 Required Skills And Abilities

 Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
 </li>

 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems and technologies.

 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and independently with minimal supervision.

 Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating interactive training sessions.

 Ability to move freely through a variety of indoor training spaces and lift materials up to 25 lbs.

 Position Summary
 
 
 
 The Clinical Research Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or other Research Coordinators and will assist with specific research tasks associated with clinical research projects or clinical trials. The Clinical Research Assistant is mentored by coordinators, managers and/or the PI. Decisions are made within the limits of clearly established policies, procedures or instructions. This is a grant-funded position and requires a background check.

 Required Education And Experience
 
 
 
 Zero to 6 months of related experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The position requires a strong interest in learning about Clinical Research.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 The Clinical Research Assistant performs study coordination tasks under the direct supervision, following established protocols and procedures. This position does not require prior experience in clinical research specifically, however, analytical thinking and attention to detail are necessary with responsibilities that may include performing repetitive tasks such as consenting patients.
 
 
 <ul>

 Assist with screening, enrollment and tracking patients in clinical trials and other research studies for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University
 </li>
 <li>
 May participate in the enrollment of human subjects for clinical trials. Obtain informed consent, schedule subjects for visits, perform basic clinical assessments and collect and enter study data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform various research, database, and clerical tasks to support clinical trials, aiding investigators in organizing, gathering, and compiling clinical research data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize and maintain documentation required for clinical trials and/or other research projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inform the Principal Investigator or other designated individuals about any issues regarding patient responses to treatment, medication, or adverse effects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Principal Investigator with Institutional Review Board (IRB) filings and annual reviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Offer clerical and technical support to ensure adherence to research protocols and maintain the quality of information received.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adheres with FDA, IRB, Pennsylvania, and other applicable regulations.
 </li>

 Performs other duties as assigned
