Visit us at www.solmax.com.Job Description: Fully understand how to operate company tractor-trailers with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds in a safe and responsible manner. Operate company tractor-trailers within FMSCA and US DOT guidelines.<ul><li>Maintain all required records detailed and accurately with great communication skills.</li><li>Load resins at rail site and unloads at plant.</li><li>Ensure orders are shipped and delivered on time.</li><li>Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.</li><li>Make safety a priority always.</li><li>Load and unload trailers, as necessary.</li><li>Ensures contents are properly secured.</li><li>Use of the RF Scanner.</li><li>Use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD) a must to maintain driving and delivery logs.</li><li>Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, wash, etc.)</li><li>Notify manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.</li><li>Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to pass drug test and background check.</li><li>Other duties as needed.</li></ul>Job Qualifications: <ul><li>Minimum education required: High School Education or Equivalent</li><li>Minimum experience required: 7 years' experience.</li><li>Valid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL)</li></ul>Description of working conditions/physical surroundings: <ul><li>Truck for short and long trips, warehouse.</li><li>Shift work: 12 hour rotating shifts (5 am - 5pm) Start and end in Cornelia, GA</li></ul>Description of responsibility for work of others: <ul><li>Work well with other truck drivers as a team.</li><li>Contacts required inside or outside the Company:</li><li>Plant and Warehouse personal, and customers.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Prescription drug insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Driving: 7 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CDL A (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
