Key Requirements and Responsibility
<ul>
<li>Calibrates and controls the gauges internally, and records in the available IT tool.</li>
<li>Gathers and compiles data and results during the calibration process in the available IT tool, checks against applicable specifications &amp; procedures, and prepares the calibration reports.</li>
<li>Analyses the results of the calibration process, recommending changes and or improvements.</li>
<li>Assists in the analysis of new suppliers of gauges and instruments.</li>
<li>Maintains gauges &amp; instruments warehouse, stock and logistics physically &amp; in the system.</li>
<li>Issues and receives the gauges in the available IT tool between applicable locations, and maintain system records of gauges transfers.</li>
<li>Purchases the suitable gauges and instruments applicable to the production.</li>
<li>Reports any deviation or nonconformity of measurement tools.</li>
<li>Performs external calibration witnessing.</li></ul>

Purpose 
<ul><li>Within his/her assigned Region, defines and develops technological improvement activity/projects, monitoring their implementation and driving their execution within his technological Process area, across the different Production Units. Identifies and promotes the best practices that impact on Quality, Productivity and Costs.</li></ul>
Main Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Monitors and drives the execution of all industrial improvement activities / projects.</li><li>Team works in high complexity projects, interacting with different processes, areas, specialties and Research &amp; Development centers</li><li>Participate in the definition of global industrial improvement activities managed by Industrial process Experts</li><li>Ensure the support to DIFAs in executing the alignment program</li><li>Ensure the support to Line Technologists to solve operative problems related to technology</li><li>Benchmarks and analyzes technological process information of the different mills.</li><li>Participates in the coordination of annual and monthly technical meetings.</li><li>Manages and develops training related activities</li><li>Takes into consideration energy saving issues when developing phases and process.</li></ul></div>

Special skills, knowledge and experience required:
<ul>
<li>Welding techniques/Schools/NDT Levels.</li>
<li>Industrial experience in welding processes and welding plant</li>
<li>Knowledge about (ERW and/or LSAW/SSAW) pipes.</li>
<li>Metallurgic, Materials or Mechanical Engineer.</li>
<li>More than 3 years experience in this field.</li>
<li>Excellent communication in english.</li>
