Job Description:</div>
<ul><li>Coordinates suppliers on new parts development for Proto and Series development for product launches.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure effective and efficient procurement processes are deployed and adhered via SAP system</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provides active representation on the project teams- PM/Engg &amp; supplier follow-ups until SOP +90 days to ensure Quality, Delivery, Cost support to program SOP launch.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Having Good know how on technical processes and their cost evaluation for best cost negotiations with suppliers to meet program target.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Negotiates technical and / or supply agreements with suppliers involved in &quot;&quot;early supplier involvement&quot;&quot; to ensure Tenneco design and developed technology is protected.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Work closely with overseas counterparts and implement global guidelines, targets and projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure purchasing Audit compliance (Quality system, processes and Purchasing Process Controls).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Utilizes supplier selection in alignment with purchasing strategies and new product performancerequirements.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Drives value analysis / value engineering activity during launch phase.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supports improvement of supplier launch procedures to minimize inventory obsolescence and supports lean manufacturing needs in alignment with operational expectations. Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify and develop efficient vendors for material supplies and outsourced manufacturing activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.</li></ul>

<li>CQP [Customer Quote process] Smartsheet activity [Quotation process optimization]</li>
<li>Profit pool analysis [Incl. TAM, SAM, existing business red ink etc]</li>
<li>Develop dashboard for Sales team KPI, Sales vs AOP vs prior yr [Analysis of sales, strategic budget planning]</li>
<li>Co-ordination with sales team, finance, purchase, SCM, Operations &amp; other key functions</li>
<li>SOPS update by business unit to align with SGE, business booking</li>
<li>Competition analysis with market research product and financials [Market share analysis by product group viz-a-viz OEM build plan]</li>
<li>Sales data management, MIS reporting, to prepare presentations for business review</li></ul><br>

<li>He is responsible for tooling management. He is responsible for providing company level data. He is responsible for identification and implementation of continual improvement projects.</li>
<li>He is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality systems in his area. He is responsible for providing quality related training to maintenance and tool store personnel.</li>
<li>He is responsible for finalizing technical specs for machining &amp; foundry equipment's</li>
<li>The effectiveness of the training is evaluated. He is an key member in new projects and new equipment installation.</li>
<li>He ensures good housekeeping and good working environment.</li>
<li>He is authorized to initiate and implement corrective and preventive action arising out of product , process or quality system non- conformities.</li>
