Summary:
This section focuses on the main purpose of the job in one to four sentences<ul><li>Serving as a field-based extension to the Medical Affairs Department, the primary role of an MSL is to represent TerSera Therapeutics as a field-based, non-promotional medical expert and engage in deep scientific exchange with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) to further their understanding and value of TerSera&rsquo;s products aligned with their and patients&rsquo; needs to improve patient outcomes.</li><li>MSL gathers valuable feedback that informs medical strategy and product development.</li><li>MSL serves as a vital scientific resource and a bridge between the healthcare community and the Company&rsquo;s internal teams.</li><li>In addition, the Sr. MSL will provide training and mentorship to new MSL colleagues as well as lead a project, congress, etc.</li></ul>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This section contains a list of the major responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.<ul><li>Develop, enhance, maintain and leverage key opinion leader (KOL) relationships within academic and community practices in therapeutic areas of interest to Company Enhance understanding of external stakeholders on TerSera&rsquo;s products via scientific exchange.</li><li>Gather data and generate meaningful, actionable scientific and medical insights and competitive intelligence from stakeholder interactions or medical meetings and provide feedback to the organization using appropriate mechanisms and tools in a timely manner.</li><li>Attend key national and local/regional medical conferences of interest to Company and report findings back to key internal stakeholders. In addition, provide medical coverage at company events/booths at such meetings.</li><li>Respond to medical information requests from HCPs with integrity, compliance, and adherence to legal, regulatory and TerSera guidelines., policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist in the training of cross functional groups on key scientific topics of interest to Company.</li><li>Assist in the development of and execution of Company-related advisory board meetings and focus groups.</li><li>Provide key payer presentations in key accounts as identified and requested by Medical Affairs home office and other cross- functional teams.</li><li>Collaborate with R&amp;D/Clinical teams to support ongoing or pending research projects.</li><li>Serve as a liaison between investigators and internal stakeholders in support of unsolicited investigator-initiated trial (IIT); facilitate submission of IIT in line with medical strategy areas of interest through approved internal process and maintain regular communication in support of the study.</li><li>Support MSL leadership in development of Medical Affairs disease state and product strategy and implementation.</li><li>Support MSL leadership and Business Development teams in due diligence of ongoing product and deal reviews.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to new MSL colleagues. Support MSL leadership with MSL team annual plans and execution.</li><li>Work efficiently and balance all work to enhance performance and execute medical plan strategies/tactics within specified timelines for effective management of territory.</li><li>Follow TerSera&rsquo;s T&amp; E policy and submit expense report in a timely mannerEnsure adherence to all TerSera policies and the TerSera Code of Conduct.</li><li>Engage in continuous independent learning within the therapeutic area and actively attend and participate in upskilling programs related to TerSera products, molecules, disease states and relevant business topics.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

&middot; Clinical and/or research experience within the US Healthcare System.&middot; Knowledge of therapeutic areas of TerSera&rsquo;s products, treatment landscape and oncology customer segments.&middot; Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.&middot; Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate complex scientific data.&middot; Demonstrated ability and capacity to network and establish key relationships.&middot; Demonstrated ability to solve problems proactively and effectively, utilizing best practices to find solutions.&middot; Highly motivated and a strategic planner.&middot; Demonstrated ability to lead and/or manage projects, congress, etc.&middot; Proven track record of teamwork, leadership, timely decision making and results orientation in meeting key objectives.&middot; Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG, and other guidelines relating to compliant medical communication and regulatory environment.&middot; Ability to travel 60-80% of the time, based on the size of the geography.&middot; Valid driver&rsquo;s license with appropriate driving record history.Education and/or Experience:Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily. 
&middot; Doctoral level in the sciences required (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO or DNP).&middot; Minimum of three years of Oncology MSL experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.&middot; Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of therapeutic areas of interest to TerSera Therapeutics; breast cancer experience preferred.</div>
