Opportunity Overview: 
The Nextest Business Unit (San Jose, CA) of Teradyne is looking for a mid-level Engineering Project Manager. Nextest is the market leader in Semiconductor Memory Test. The memory in your computer, cell phone, or tablet was likely tested using our equipment. 
These multimillion-dollar systems involve leading edge electronics, mechanical packaging, active cooling, and complex software. 
As a Project Manager, you&rsquo;ll leverage your Engineering background across multiple knowledge domains, working with Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure our latest systems delight our customers. In this role, you will:<ul><li>Lead multi-site, multi discipline, cross functional teams in an innovative, collaborative environment to define and deliver committed prototypes, demonstrations, and/or products, all using our phase gate or iterative processes.</li><li>Successfully deliver to the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality while managing execution, scope changes, risks, tradeoffs, expectations, and communications.</li><li>Responsible for successful delivery of the project goals and business results associated with them.</li><li>Lead complex projects negotiate tradeoffs, determine and commit to aggressive yet achievable scope, schedule, and budget to deliver winning business results by applying state of the art project management tools and techniques.</li><li>Drive and monitor all day-to-day project work, making sure that problems are resolved quickly.</li><li>Escalate and drive issues that are out of the project team&rsquo;s control through the management chain for rapid resolution.</li><li>Lead project and phase gate approval reviews, providing clear and concise written and verbal communication to all levels of the project team and stakeholders, and tailoring style to a broad range of audiences and situations.</li><li>Run and monitor budgets for key engineering projects by tracking material requisitions, ensuring material is delivered, and generating reports on budget status.</li><li>Depending upon the scope of the project, you may support the Engineering NPI process for new projects by creating and monitoring schedules and budgets, generating periodic reports on project status, progress, and plans, and working with cross functional teams to ensure projects meet goals.</li></ul>

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.</li><li>Must have experience managing complex technical projects with electromechanical design and software elements in a product development environment on aggressive TTM timelines.</li><li>10+ years of technical project management and product development experience required.</li><li>Experience as a hands-on engineer in hardware, software, or mechanical engineering.</li><li>Experience managing complex, lengthy projects.</li><li>Lead cross functional teams of 10&ndash;20 people, ~12-month duration, possibly across multiple geographic locations.</li><li>Self-motivated, accountable individual with strong commitment to meeting personal and team goals as well as professional development.</li><li>Strong expertise in systematic problem-solving approaches.</li><li>Competency to lead and drive complex decisions.</li><li>Excellent organizational and written / verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Windows.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Project (setup, tracking, reporting).</li><li>Proficient in Excel / Word / PowerPoint for project tracking and communication.</li><li>Must communicate effectively with cross functional teams to set goals, schedules, and resolve problems.</li></ul>

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $154,500 - $247,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Global Director of Contracts 
We are hiring a business oriented Global Director of Contracts to manage our global contracting process and to negotiate contracts for the Company and its subsidiaries, including customer purchase agreements, supplier agreements, NDAs, MOUs, license agreements, consignment agreements and development agreements. This person will support and advise internal clients in sales, operations and supply chain. This person must also have the skillset and drive to continue the implementation of a worldwide contracts management system, and to partner with other contracts and legal staff worldwide.

Manage commercial contract approval and signature process and interact with executive staff for execution of commercial contracts.</li><li>

Work with management to establish and/or improve documented contract workflow procedures.</li><li>
Ensure the Company&rsquo;s contract forms are accurate and well maintained.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>
At least 15 years of experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably for technological companies, with a practical business sense. This is a lead negotiator role.</li><li>
Experience with implementation and use of contract management systems including updating templates.</li><li>
Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines. Process oriented but also flexible given the internal or external customer.</li><li>
Excellent writing, verbal, computer and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Attention to detail and ability to analyze and track complex information.</li><li>
Willingness and ability to learn new substantive skills and develop and expand existing ones.</li><li>
Team oriented attitude with ability to deliver constructive and creative support; ability to collaborate across reporting lines and geographies.</li><li>
