<div>Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst in the Compliance Analytics team, you will play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity by leveraging data to detect and prevent financial crimes. Your responsibilities include:<ul>
<li>Analyzing transaction data to uncover patterns of money laundering and fraud.</li>
<li>Supporting sanctions screening with advanced data insights.</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining SQL and Python scripts for data operations.</li>
<li>Creating interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.</li>
<li>Implementing basic predictive models for fraud scoring and anomaly detection.</li>
<li>Handling BAU data requests and generating QA samples for monitoring and screening.</li>
<li>Contributing to AI-driven initiatives within the compliance function.</li>
</ul>How will you create an impact?
Key Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Transaction Monitoring: Develop rules and statistical algorithms to flag suspicious transactions in real time.</li>
<li>Sanctions Screening: Perform data preparation for customer and transaction screening against global and regional sanctions lists (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU) as and when required, investigate and prepare analytical insights as per the requirement of the team, and collaborate with team members to tune screening rules and reduce false positives.</li>
<li>Pattern Analysis: Identify money laundering typologies (e.g., structuring, layering) through data mining and clustering techniques.</li>
<li>Predictive Analytics: Prototype and validate models for fraud detection, monitor model performance, and refine thresholds.</li>
<li>Dashboarding &amp; Reporting: Design and maintain dashboards for compliance metrics, KPI tracking, and regulatory reporting.</li>
<li>Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Compliance Operations, Risk, and IT teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions</li></ul>
Requirements
Essential qualifications:<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.</li>
<li>Python: Proficient in pandas, NumPy, and SciPy for data analysis.</li>
<li>SQL: Advanced query writing, performance tuning, and database design.</li>
<li>Visualization: Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.</li>
<li>Analytics &amp; Modeling: Familiarity with regression, classification algorithms, and model validation techniques.</li>
<li>Automation &amp; AI Tools: Microsoft Power Automate; Microsoft Copilot.</li>
</ul>Desired Skills &amp; Experience<ul>
<li>Domain Knowledge: Understanding of AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting standards.</li>
<li>BI Tools: Experience with data engineering tools like Git, dbt, or Airflow for pipeline management.</li>
<li>Communication: Strong storytelling skills to present complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Problem-Solving: Creative approach to uncover hidden patterns and root causes in transaction data.</li>

Data Analyst - Compliance Analytics

<div>Role Overview:
The person would be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tracking, reporting, and follow-up on credit extended to partners. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial discipline and minimizing credit risk.
How you will create impact:
Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Ensure Revenue Assurance submits daily collection memos for credit extended partners for the utilized balances.</li>
<li>Track all partners&rsquo; credit usage to confirm effective fund utilization.</li>
<li>Review credit partners daily to identify overdue balances.</li>
<li>Prepare and send daily reports on collections and overdue accounts to Business Development, Liquidity, and Revenue Assurance teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members and departments to resolve issues and improve collections.</li>
<li>Join training sessions to stay informed on best practices, compliance, and company procedures.</li>
</ul>Requirements<ul>
<li>B.com / MBA Finance with 3 years of experience or CA fresher
</li><li>Previous experience in credit collections is mandatory for B.com /MBA candidates.</li>
<li>Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial terminology is an asset.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn specialized collections software.</li>
<li>Strong data entry skills and the ability to navigate computer systems effectively.</li>

<li>Capable of mentoring teams and driving a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.</li>
