 Job Summary
 
 
 
 Reporting to the GM Emerging Markets, this role provides strategic marketing and project leadership, integrating expertise, resources, and planning across diverse functional, geographic, cultural, and socio-political environments to ensure successful market development and project execution.
 
 
 
 Essential Duties
 
 
 
 Market development:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide appropriate feedback from geographies to support product design, functionality, translation priorities, sales force collaterals, and customer communication material to insure effectiveness
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive project planning, implementation with sales other key stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with EMEA marketing managers to successfully identify business opportunities by specific geographic area and develop support tools and new programs in a timely and high-quality manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage strategic development and drive execution of all marketing initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Support commercialization across customer segments and product portfolio
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and support KOL management plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure alignment with cross functional departments such as regulatory, medical affairs, market access, sales, service and operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive evidence-generation strategies in collaboration with medical affairs to demonstrate clinical and economic value of Terumo BCT solutions, especially in low-resource environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the development of multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital, in-field education, community outreach, and thought-leadership initiatives relevant for emerging markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and secure strategic partnerships (e.g., advocacy groups, foundations, global health organizations) to accelerate awareness, adoption, and long-term sustainability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Champion innovative go-to-market models adapted to EM infrastructural realities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a senior advisor to the EM leadership team on policy, funding, and global health trends.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure marketing strategies incorporate health economics, affordability pathways, and access programs tailored to local conditions and stakeholder needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide coaching and leadership to local teams and partners to elevate marketing capability and strategic thinking regionally.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Minimum Qualification Requirements
 
 
 
 Education:
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business and/or marketing is preferred, or equivalent through experience
 
 
 Experience:
 
 
 Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience sales and marketing in emerging markets in the healthcare environment (i.e. pharmaceutical/medical devices)
 
 
 
 Skills

 Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, manage and implement complex, large scale projects by effectively partnering with internal and external key stakeholders within an emerging market
 </li>
 <li>
 Track record of successfully contributing to strategic planning and execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to build markets from scratch, ideally launching novel therapies or medical technologies in low-resource or frontier markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong ability to turn complex clinical, operational, and policy insights into clear, compelling marketing narratives and commercial strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly advanced analytical skills with experience in scenario planning, forecasting in uncertain environments, and data-poor market decision making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lead 360&deg; marketing programs, including segmentation, targeting, value proposition development, tactical execution, and measurement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience building local champions and KOL networks in emerging markets to accelerate adoption and credibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work effectively and comfortably with multiple levels (within a blood center or hospital) as well as all functions and levels within the business organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage by influence in a complex and dynamic environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Experienced in customer negotiations
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience executing large infrastructural projects, preferably in hospital and blood bank domain
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to drive revenue through creative sales channels and marketing programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Creative thinker with the ability to provide both strategic and tactical innovation
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to provide an inspirational vision and trigger strong engagement both internally as externally
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced sales and marketing techniques and a strong working knowledge of market/clinical execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing strategic planning through program delivery/execution
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 People Management Skills

 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, including managing direct reports across diverse geographies and cultural backgrounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in setting clear priorities, providing structured feedback, and building accountability within a remote or hybrid team environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members through complex, long-term projects in challenging emerging market settings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to foster collaboration, build trust, and create a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment within the team.
