 We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Global Sourcing &ndash; Direct Materials to lead sourcing initiatives across our global supply chain, with a focus on innovation, cost optimization, and supplier excellence. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in medical device manufacturing, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in direct materials sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive value and ensure quality across our product portfolio.  Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and execute procurement strategies that balance cost, quality and innovation, and align with business objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to ensure supply security, competitive pricing and priority.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead supply performance reviews, manage KPIs and oversee contracts and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze commodity market trends to identify cost savings opportunities and mitigate risks and volatility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and value engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory landscape and ESG.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides strategic direction and leadership for direct materials category team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross functional teams to elevate the Procurement offering and value proposition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement tools and systems to enhance procurement efficiency and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Anticipate and manage risks related to supply disruptions, marker shifts and regulatory changes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop contingency sourcing strategies to safeguard business continuity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Influences internal stakeholders to ensure successful strategy implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Directs the professional growth of team by providing individualized guidance, training and supervision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Delegates work assignments matching responsibility to the person and gives authority to work independently. Sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead, mentor, and develop team of procurement professionals and buyers
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate and work cross functionally with other leaders to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with the Terumo BCT product development timelines.

 </ul>
 
 Minimum Qualification Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Education
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required, Masters Degree desired.
 
 
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 10 years progressive management experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with drug/device combination products is desired.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with sourcing in a Global environment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Skills

 Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to negotiate complex contracts, strong contract management and supplier development capabilities.

 Target Pay Range:
 
 $170,100.00 to $212,600.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
 
 
 
 Target Bonus on Base:
