 About the role
 
 
 
 As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at Tesco, covering our Head Office buildings at WGC, you&rsquo;ll play a crucial role in keeping our environments comfortable, safe, and fully operational for our colleagues. Your expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems will ensure our stores remain energy-efficient and compliant with safety standards.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll be part of a skilled maintenance team, responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC systems and equipment. From diagnosing faults to carrying out repairs and optimising system performance, your work will help ensure a seamless working experience for thousands of colleagues every day.
 
 
 This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to high standards of service and safety.  You will be responsible for
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensuring all Tesco HO Sites at WGC are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, maximising productivity, and effectiveness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Delivering high quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key and common issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own tasks at a local level through to completion/resolution, informing key stakeholders through the process, where required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive best practice in work completion and updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use the business systems to drive best practice in work order reporting to support asset lifecycle management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting KPI delivery, through the practical application of skill sets, and effective use of business systems to drive achievement of your own set KPIs.
 </li>

 You will need

 Full driving license

 Level 3 City &amp; Guilds or equivalent Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Digitally confident; can comfortably operate mobile phone and tablets to view workload, emails, teams, and use of business systems.

 Refrigeration and AC C&amp;G 6187, 7189, 6090 or NVQ or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Heating &amp; Ventilation C&amp;G 7188, 6288, 6188 or NVQ or Equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Plumbing &amp; Heating C&amp;G 4467, 3345, 6189, 6035 or NVQ or Equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 C&amp;G 2079 - F-Gas and ODS regulations (Air Con)
 </li>
 <li>
 CCN1 - Core gas safety (Gas) includes COCN1 &amp; CODNCO1
 </li>
 <li>
 CENWAT
 </li>
 <li>
 CDGA1 &ndash; Commercial natural gas and LPG direct fired heating appliances
 </li>
 <li>
 ICPN1 - Installation first fix commercial pipework
 </li>
 <li>
 CIGA1 - Commercial indirect fired heating appliances
