As a Tabless Shift Engineer at Tesla, you will play a key role in supporting production ramp for our innovative cell manufacturing equipment. What You'll Do</b><div><ul><li>
Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments</li><li>
Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members</li><li>
Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system. Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations</li><li>
Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries</li><li>
Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts</li><li>
Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvements</li><li>
Pick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary</li></ul></div><br>

What You'll Bring</b><div><ul><li>
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers</li><li>
This role requires flexibility to support critical projects and deadlines, including occasional weekend or evening hours</li><li>
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines</li><li>
Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels. Proficient in MS Office</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required and ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable<br>
</li><li>
Ability to perform repetitious duties including: regularly lift up to 25 lbs., sit, bend and stand for long periods of time</li><li>
Specific vision abilities required include: ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department</li></ul></div><br>
