Property Maintenance ApprenticeLocation: Fayetteville, AR Job Type: Full-time Pay: Dependent on merit and productivity: $18.00 &ndash; $23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday. General start and finish time is 7:00 AM-4:00 PMPosition Summary We are seeking a Property Maintenance Apprentice to oversee and perform all aspects of property upkeep and repair, both indoors and outdoors. This role involves a wide range of handyman responsibilities, including general building maintenance, lawn care, landscaping, and basic repair work to ensure all facilities and grounds are safe, functional, and well-maintained.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine indoor maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs.</li><li>Oversee lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor groundskeeping, including mowing, trimming, planting, and snow removal as needed.</li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.</li><li>Inspect facilities regularly to identify and resolve issues proactively.</li><li>Handle basic building upkeep tasks such as cleaning gutters, pressure washing, and minor structural repairs.</li><li>Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or projects when required.</li><li>Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform regular safety checks.</li><li>Provide timely response to maintenance requests from tenants, staff, or management.</li><li>Plan and execute seasonal property needs (e.g., winterization, irrigation, landscaping improvements).</li></ul>Knowledge and Qualifications Required<ul><li>Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or handyman services.</li><li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping techniques.</li><li>Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and power tools.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</li><li>Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform hands-on labor in varying weather conditions.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license; ability to travel between properties if required.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in residential or commercial property management settings.</li><li>Certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus but not required.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Challenging, rewarding work with a variety of parts and finishes</li><li>On-the-job training and opportunities for skill development</li><li>Plentiful opportunities for advancement</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>SEP-IRA eligible after 3 years</li><li>PTO after 60-day introductory period; increases with tenure</li><li>Family-owned, team-first culture</li><li>Participate in a winning work environment focused on quality, efficiency, and improvement</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
