</p><p></p><p><b>Tasks</b></p><ul><li>
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. This should include acknowledging customers by name at the beginning or end of the transaction for a more personal experience.</li><li>
Acknowledge all customers that come in the bank.</li><li>
Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.</li><li>
Utilize and balance the assigned Teller Cash Recycler (TCR), Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and Integrated Teller Machine (ITM)</li><li>
Cash checks and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds and no other orders on the account would prevent pay out of money (stop payment, freeze on account, hold, etc).</li><li>
Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.</li><li>
Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents.</li><li>
Enter customers' transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.</li><li>
Count currency, coins, and checks received, by hand or using currency-counting machine, to prepare them for deposit or shipment to branch banks or the Federal Reserve Bank.</li><li>
Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance.</li><li>
Prepare and verify cashier's checks.</li><li>
Arrange monies received in cash boxes and coin dispensers according to denomination.</li><li>
Process transactions such as loan payments, night deposits, and mail deposits.</li><li>
Receive mortgage or loan, verifying payment dates and amounts due.</li><li>
Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers' accounts.</li><li>
Assist customers with gift cards, money orders, cashier's checks, address changes and other requests.
</li><li>Promote the bank's services, answer customer questions and direct customers to appropriate departments.</li><li>
Order a supply of cash to meet daily needs.</li><li>
Sort and file deposit slips and checks.</li><li>
Carry out special services for customers, such as ordering bank cards and checks.</li><li>
Daily balancing of the coin machine and vault</li><li>
Answer basic customer inquiries regarding products while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies</li><li>
Answer incoming phone calls in friendly and professional manner</li><li>
Receive and prepare wire request</li><li>
Perform opening and closing procedures of the branch</li><li>
Ability to cross-train for Financial Services Representative (New Accounts, AA, Etc)</li><li>
